Steel Authority of India (SAIL) is looking for eligible candidates for the post of Assistant General Manager, Manager, Dy. Manager and Assistant Manager. There are 41 openings to be filled for SAIL Recruitment 2023.

Age Limit for SAIL Recruitment 2023:

The age criteria for SAIL Recruitment 2023 are listed below-

• The maximum age is 41 years to apply for the post of Assistant General Manager.
• The maximum age is 35 years to apply for the post of Manager.
• The maximum age is 32 years to apply for the post of Dy. Manager.
• The maximum age is 30 years to apply for the post of Assistant Manager.

Qualification and Experience for SAIL Recruitment 2023:

Candidate must have the required qualifications and experience to apply for SAIL Recruitment 2023 as described below-

For AGM (E-5) (Mechanical / Electrical / Civil)-

• The candidate should have a B.E/B. Tech (Full-time) in Mechanical / Electrical / Civil from Govt. a recognized University/Institute.
• The candidate should have a Post Qualification Experience (after BE/B.Tech) of a minimum of 13 years in the Executive cadre in the execution of jobs in the respective relevant field as per discipline in any Manufacturing Industry / Mining Sector / Infrastructure Development Organisation.
• The Industry / Organisation must be a Public Sector Undertaking/ Govt. Organization / Public Limited Company / JV of PSUs or Govt.

For Manager (E-3) (Mechanical / Electrical / Civil)-

• The applicant must have a B.E/B. Tech (Full-time) in Mechanical / Electrical / Civil from Govt. a recognized University/Institute.
• The applicant must have a Post Qualification Experience (after BE/B.Tech) of a minimum of 07 (seven) years in the Executive cadre in the execution of jobs in the respective relevant field as per discipline in any Manufacturing Industry / Mining Sector / Infrastructure Development Organisation.
• The Industry / Organisation must be a Public Sector Undertaking/ Govt. Organization / Public Limited Company / JV of PSUs or Govt.

For Dy. Manager (E-2) (P and HS)-

• The candidate should have a full-time Master’s Degree / Bachelor’s Degree in Hotel Management / Hospitality Management / Hospitality and Hotel Administration / Hotel Management and Catering Technology from Govt. a recognized University/Institute.
• The candidate should have a Post Qualification experience of a minimum of 04 (four) years in the Executive cadre in 3 3-star / above-star Hotel(s) or in any Corporate/Govt./PSU-owned Hotel/Guest House having not less than 50 rooms.

For Asst. Manager (E-1) (Geology)-

• The applicant must have a Master of Science (M.Sc.) or Master of Science and Technology (M.Sc. Tech) (full time) in Geology/Applied Geology discipline from Govt. recognized University/ Institute.
• The candidate should have a Post Qualification experience of a minimum of 02 years in the executive cadre in Open Cast Metalliferous Mines in the Geology/Quality Control/Mine Planning Department.

Selection Process for SAIL Recruitment 2023:

The selection of SAIL Recruitment 2023 will be determined on the basis of a Computer Based Test (CBT) and Interview or interview or both. The call letter will be available on the SAIL website for downloading. The Date, Time and Venue for CBT / Interview will be intimated to eligible candidates through a Call Letter/Admit Card and information will be shared through E-mail/SMS and the SAIL website.

Application Fee for SAIL Recruitment 2023:

The application fee is Rs.700 for Gen/OBC/EWS candidates and Rs.200 for SC/ST/ESM/PwBD candidates to apply for SAIL Recruitment 2023. The payment will be made through Net Banking / Credit / ATM-cum-Debit Card from 15/12/2023 to 06/01/2024 (11.45 PM). State Bank of India (SBI) has been authorized to collect the application fee through SB Collect on behalf of SAIL, RSP.

As mentioned in the official notification of SAIL Recruitment 2023, eligible and willing candidates can download the blank application form from the official website of SAIL and submit the same duly filled application form along with the required documents by post to the Dy. General Manager (PL-TA, G and GA) Block “E”, Ground Floor Administration Building Rourkela Steel Plant Rourkela – 769 011 (Odisha) on or before the last date. The envelope containing the application must be superscribed “Application for the post of ____________________ against Advt. No. 09/2023”. No application will be accepted after the due date.
