Qualification and Experience for SBI Recruitment 2023:

• Candidate must have a Degree in Engineering /B.E. Environmental Engineering from an Indian University/Institute recognized/approved by Govt. bodies/AICTE/UGC. OR
• Candidate must have a Master’s degree in an environment-related area such as M. Sc. / M. Tech. / Master’s in Environmental Science /Environmental Science & Engineering / Earth and Climate Science / Energy Technology / Climate Science and Technology from University/Institute recognized/approved by Govt. bodies/AICTE/UGC.
• Preference to be given to candidates who have a degree or Specialization or have experience in climate adaptation/Climate Mitigation areas.

Experience-

• Candidate should have a minimum of 36 months post-qualification experience in the area of handling projects in the field of Environmental and related areas/understanding of various climate mitigation technologies and ESG risk management under various sectors, especially power/steel/cement.
• Candidate must be working in any financial institution/Bank/Rating company may be an added advantage.

Required Skills for SBI Recruitment 2023:

• Candidate should have strong written and communication skills. Impeccable understanding of financial statements and ratios.
• Candidate should have problem-solving aptitude good team player and ability to Network with all stakeholders.
• The candidate should support the team in monitoring the portfolio in terms of GHG impact and ESG risk management as well as preparing monthly/quarterly /annual performance reports.
• Candidate should be Self-driven and have the ability to manage competing deadlines. Candidate must have a clear understanding of statutory guidelines applicable to the Banking domain.

Specific Skills-

• Candidate should have knowledge of financial ratios and banking systems.
• Candidate should have an understanding of the power and utility sector with a focus on solar, wind, biogas, hydro and upcoming technologies.

• Candidate should have an understanding of Environmental risks and impacts, including those identified in the World Bank Group Environmental, Health and Safety Guidelines (EHSGs).
• Candidate should have working experience with social risks and impacts.

Tenure for SBI Recruitment 2023:

According to the official notification of SBI Recruitment 2023, the appointment is made on a contract basis and the selected candidates will be appointed for a period of 03 years but renewable for a further period of 01 year at the sole discretion of the Bank. The selected candidates will be employed at Corporate Centre, Mumbai.

Selection Process for SBI Recruitment 2023:

As per the official notification of SBI Recruitment 2023, the candidates will be selected on the basis of Shortlisting and Interviews. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview. An interview will be valued at 100 points. The Bank will choose the minimum interview score requirements. No correspondence in this regard will be answered. The selection merit list will be generated in descending order based only on interview results and CTC negotiations will take place one by one, with candidates being chosen in the order of the merit list according to their performance in the interview.

As given in the official notification of SBI Recruitment 2023, the application fee is Rs.750. The SC/ST/PWD candidates are exempted from the application fee. The payment will be made online.
