As per the official notification of SBI Recruitment 2023, there are 02 vacant seats available for the post of Data Protection Officer and Assistant Data Protection Officer.

Age Limit for SBI Recruitment 2023:

As stated in the official notification of SBI Recruitment 2023, the minimum age limit is 40 years and the maximum age limit is 55 years to apply for the post of Data Protection Officer and the minimum age limit is 35 years and the maximum age is 45 years to apply for the post of Assistant Data Protection Officer.

Salary for SBI Recruitment 2023:

As mentioned in the official notification of SBI Recruitment 2023, the selected candidates will be paid an annual CTC between Rs.45 Lakhs to Rs.60 Lakhs.

Qualification and Experience for SBI Recruitment 2023:

As given in the official notification of SBI Recruitment 2023, the required qualifications and experience are mentioned below-

For Data Protection Officer-

• Candidate should have a Graduation or Equivalent.
• Compulsory Professional Qualification
• Certification in any one or more Professional certifications like CIPP-E / CIPP-A / CIPM / FIP.

Preferred Qualifications-

• Certifications in CIPT / CISM / CISA / ISO 27001.
• Expert Knowledge of data privacy laws and practices. Exposure to Data Privacy Laws and regulations such as the General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”), UK Data Protection Act 2018 etc.

Experience-

• Candidate should have a minimum of 15 years of work experience in a managerial role in the corporate sector with at least 5 years experience (within the overall experience of 15 years) preferably in the BFSI sector. In addition, Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years (within an overall experience of 15 years.) experience in Data Privacy Laws and regulations and other Data security areas.
• Preference will be given to candidates having higher experience in Data Privacy Laws and Regulations and other Data Privacy Laws and Regulations and other Data security areas.

For Assistant Data Protection Officer-

• Candidate should have a Graduation or Equivalent.
• Compulsory Professional Qualification
• Certification in any one or more Professional certifications like CIPP-E / CIPP-A / CIPM / DCPP / DCPLA.

Preferred Qualifications-

• Certifications in FIP / CIPT / CISM / CISA / ISO 27001.
• Expert Knowledge of data privacy laws and practices. Exposure to Data Privacy Laws and Regulations such as the General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”), UK Data Protection Act 2018 etc.

Experience-

• Candidate should have a minimum of 10 years of work experience in a managerial role in the corporate sector with at least 5 years experience (within the overall experience of 10 years) preferably in the BFSI sector. In addition, Candidates should have a minimum of 1 year (within an overall experience of 10 years.) experience in Data Privacy Laws and regulations and other Data security areas.

Tenure for SBI Recruitment 2023:

As mentioned in the official notification of SBI Recruitment 2023, the engagement is made on a contract basis and the selected candidates will be engaged for a period of 03 years with an option to renew for 01 year. The selected candidates will be posted in Mumbai.

Selection Process for SBI Recruitment 2023:

According to the official notification of SBI Recruitment 2023, the selection will be based on Shortlisting and Interviews. The shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview. An interview will be valued at 100 points. The Bank will choose the minimum interview score requirements. No correspondence in this regard will be answered. The selection merit list will be generated in descending order based only on interview results and CTC negotiations will take place one by one, with candidates being chosen in the order of the merit list according to their performance in the interview.

Application Fee for SBI Recruitment 2023:

As per the official notification of SBI Recruitment 2023, candidates of the General/OBC/EWS categories have to pay Rs.750 as an application fee. The candidates of the SC/ST/PWD categories are exempted from the application fee. The application fee will be paid online.
