The State Bank of India (SBI) is looking for contract candidates to fill the positions of Specialist Cadre Officers in Green Finance, ESG Finance, and Renewable Energy. There are 03 opportunities for the aforementioned positions.

Qualification for SBI Recruitment 2023:

Candidates applying for the SBI Recruitment 2023 must have the following qualifications.

Specialist (Green Finance)

• Degree in Engineering /B.E. Environmental Engineering from Indian University/Institute recognized/approved by Govt. bodies/AICTE/UGC
  or
• Master’s degree in an environment-related area such as M. Sc. / M. Tech. / Master’s in Environmental Science / Environmental Science & Engineering / Earth & Climate Science / Energy Technology / Climate Science & Technology from University/Institute recognized/approved by Govt. bodies / AICTE /UGC.

Other Qualification
Preference to be given to candidates who have a degree or Specialization or have experience in climate adaptation/Climate Mitigation areas.

Specialist (ESG Finance)

• B.E./B. Tech. Engineering Degree from Institutes recognized/approved by Govt. bodies/AICTE/UGC with experience in ESG
  or
• Master’s degree in an environment-related area such as M. Sc. / M. Tech. / Master’s in Environmental Science / Environmental Science & Engineering / Earth & Climate Science / Energy Technology / Climate Science & Technology from University/Institute recognized/approved by Govt. bodies / AICTE/UGC.

Other Qualification:

• Preference is to be given to candidates who possess a post-graduation degree with a Specialization in Environmental Science or have related certification from recognized institutes.
• Preference to be given to experience in ESG-related action & reporting.

Specialist (Renewable Energy)

• Degree in Engineering /B.E. Environmental Engineering from Indian University/Institute recognized/approved by Govt. bodies/AICTE/UGC.

• Master’s degree in an environment-related area such as M. Sc. / M. Tech. / Master’s in Environmental Science / Environmental Science & Engineering / Earth & Climate Science / Energy Technology / Climate Science & technology from institutes recognized/approved by Govt. bodies/AICTE/UGC

Other Qualification:
Preference is to be given to candidates who have a degree or Specialization in Renewable energy or have experience in Renewable energy/energy efficiency/electric mobility

Specialist (Green Finance)

• Candidate should have a minimum of 36 months post-qualification experience in the area of handling projects in the field of Environmental and related areas/understanding of various climate mitigation technologies and ESG risk management under various sectors especially power/steel/cement.
• Working in any financial institution/Bank/Rating company may be an added advantage.

Specialist (ESG Finance)

• Candidate should have a minimum of 36 months post-qualification experience in the area of ESG-related action and reporting/ GHG accounting principles/methodologies, technical risk assessment of various Climate mitigation technologies, Green House gas emission reporting, Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG)Rating, ESG Consulting, conducting Environmental and Social Due Diligence (ESDD) of projects/Risk management
• Experience in working directly with development/ functional teams.

Specialist (Renewable Energy)

• Candidate should have a minimum 36 months post-qualification experience in the area of the Renewal Energy Sector (Solar, wind, hydro, biogas, waste to energy)
• Working in any financial institution/Bank/Rating company may be an added advantage.

Application Fee for SBI Recruitment 2023:

As mentioned in the official notification of SBI Recruitment 2023, General/OBC/EWS candidates must pay a non-refundable application cost of Rs.750, whereas SC/ST/PwBD candidates pay no fees/intimation charges.

Age Limit for SBI Recruitment 2023:

In accordance with the official notification of SBI Recruitment 2023, specialist positions have a minimum age limit of 25 years and a maximum age limit of 35 years.

Selection Procedure for SBI Recruitment 2023:

According to the official notification of SBI Recruitment 2023, the selection will be made using shortlisting and interviewing.

Tenure for SBI Recruitment 2023:

As per the official notification of SBI Recruitment 2023, the candidate will be appointed  for a tenure period of 03 years.

Remuneration for SBI Recruitment 2023:

As mentioned in the Official notification of SBI Recruitment 2023, the shortlisted candidates would be paid an annual CTC ranging from 26 to 30 lakhs.
