State Bank of India (SBI) is inviting online applications for the engagement of retired officers of SBI,  on a contractual basis for the post of FLC Counsellors and FLC Directors. The number of vacancies available for the above post is 113, where for FLC Counsellors there are 101 vacancies and for FLC Directors there are 12 vacancies.

Tenure for SBI Recruitment 2023:

In accordance with the official notification of SBI Recruitment 2023, the tenure period for the above post is mentioned below.

• Applicant will be appointed for a tenure period of one year and a maximum of three years or the officer attaining the age of 65 years, whichever is earlier.
• Contract may be for a period of 2 years, after which it may be renewed for one year based on performance, subject to the attainment of the age of 65 years.
• During the period of the contract of service with the Bank, the retired officer will not take up any assignment with another organization.

Qualification for SBI Recruitment 2023:

FLC Counsellors

• As the counselors are expected to counsel the public on all issues related to financial institutions, proficiency in the local language (reading, writing, speaking, and understanding) and working knowledge of computers are essential.
• The retired officer should possess a Smart Mobile Phone and knowledge of computers is essential.

FLC Directors

• FLC Directors are expected to counsel the public on all issues related to financial institutions, proficiency in the local language (reading, writing, speaking, and understanding) and working knowledge of computers is essential.
• The retired officer should possess a Smart Mobile Phone and knowledge of computer is essential.

Salary for SBI Recruitment 2023:

As given in the official notification of SBI Recruitment 2023, the selected applicant will get a monthly salary between Rs.35000 to Rs.60000.

Selection Procedure for SBI Recruitment 2023:

According to the official notification of SBI Recruitment 2023, applicant selection will be based on shortlisting and  Interviews.

• Shortlisting: The candidate fulfilling minimum qualification and experience will not vest any right in the candidate for being called for an interview. The Shortlisting Committee constituted by
  the Bank will decide the shortlisting parameters and thereafter, an adequate number of candidates, as decided by the Bank will be shortlisted and called for interview. The decision of the Bank to call the candidates for the interview shall be final. No correspondence will be entertained in this regard
• Interview: The interview will carry 100 marks. The qualifying marks in the interview will be decided by the Bank. No correspondence will be entertained in this regard.
• Merit list: The merit list for final selection will be prepared in descending order of scores obtained in the interview only, subject to the candidate scoring minimum qualifying marks. In case more than one candidate scores common cut-off marks, such candidates will be ranked in the merit in descending order of their age.
