SECI Recruitment 2022: SECI, or simply known as Solar Energy Corporation of India Ltd, is a company that works under the ownership of the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, Government of India. Initially founded on 9 September of the year 2011, the company primarily focused on facilitating the implementation of the National Solar Mission (NSM). SECI is the only Central Public Sector Undertaking (PSU) that is dedicated to the Solar energy sector. 

The Solar Energy Corporation of India Limited is a company that maintains a great work culture, and it recruits eligible professionals from time to time. Right now, the company is looking to appoint candidates who have the qualifications and experience preferred for the vacant posts of ‘Additional General Manager (Solar, Personnel & Administration),’ ‘Deputy General Manager (IT),’ ‘Manager (Solar),’ ‘Sr Officer (Personnel & Administration),’ ‘Sr Accounts Officer,’ ‘Sr. Engineer (Information Technology, Power System),’ ‘Secretarial Officer,’ ‘Jr Accountant,’ ‘Supervisor (Personnel & Administration),’ ‘Supervisor (Civil, Electrical),’ and ‘Personal Assistant.’

Educational Qualifications for Additional General Manager (Solar, P&A)

Candidates applying for the following post must possess a Degree/ PG in Electrical Engineering including Solar/ Renewable Energy/ Power System with 60% marks or equivalent CGPA on a point scale from a recognized University/Institute. A minimum of 19 years of post-qualification experience in an organization of repute in one or more areas as under the Power sector/ solar power projects both off-grid and/ or grid application/wind power projects will be preferred for the post. To apply for the post in the P&A department, a Master’s degree in Business Administration with specialization in Human resources/ PGDBM in HR/ Social Work/ MSW with 60% marks from a recognized Institute/University will be preferred. 

For Deputy General Manager (IT)

Candidates must possess a PG Degree in Computer Science/ Computer Application / Information Technology/ Engineering in Computer Science/ Information Technology with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent CGPA on a point scale from a recognized university/Institute. Additionally, a post qualification experience of at least 13 years in an organization of repute preferably in any of the following areas – Implementing/maintaining complex IT projects/ Software Development /working knowledge of SQL and programming languages will be preferred to apply for the post.

Manager (Solar)

Degree/ PG in Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering including Solar/ Renewable Energy/ Power System with 60% marks or equivalent CGPA on a point scale from a recognized University/Institute. Minimum 7 years of post-qualification experience in an organization of repute will be preferred to apply for the post. 

For Sr Officer (Personnel & Administration)

To apply for the post, the candidate must possess a Master’s degree in Business Administration / Two years PGDBM with specialization in Human Resource / Masters in Social Works with 60% marks or equivalent CGPA from a recognized Institute/ University. 

For Sr Accounts Officer

The candidates who are considering applying for the post must hold a CA or CMA or 2 years MBA degree with a Specialization in Finance with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent CGPA from a recognized University/institute. 

For Sr. Engineer (Information Technology)

PG Degree in Computer Science/ Computer Application/ Information Technologies/ Engineering Graduate in Computer Science with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent CGPA on a point scale from a recognized University/institute.

For Sr. Engineer (Power System)

Candidates applying for the post should have a Degree/ PG in Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering including Solar/ Renewable Energy/ Power System with 60% marks or equivalent CGPA on a point scale from a recognized University/ Institute.

For Secretarial Officer 

The candidate applying for the post should be an Associate Member of the Company Secretary of India (ACS). Candidate must have secured a minimum of 60% of marks or equivalence CGPA in the final examination of ICSI. 

For Jr Accountant 

The candidate should be a CA (Inter / IPCC) or CMA (Inter), and he/she should have at least 01-year inline post qualification experience in an organization of repute dealing day to day transactions of Finance and Accounts/ bookkeeping/ database/ bank balance/ taxation/ payroll, etc. 

For Supervisor (Personnel & Administration)

The candidate must be a graduate holding 1 year Post Graduate Diploma in Personal Management & / or Industrial relations / Labour Laws/ Human Resource Management from a recognized Institute / University with 60% marks or equivalent CGPA.

For Supervisor (Civil) 

Three years Diploma in Civil Engineering with a minimum of 60% marks from a recognized Institute / Board/ University. A minimum of 1 year of post qualification experience is also required to apply for the post. 

For Supervisor (Electrical)

Candidate must hold a Three years Diploma in Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 60% marks from a recognized Institute / Board/ University.  A minimum of 1 year of post-qualification experience in an Organization of repute handling O&M/ installation & commissioning of electrical/thermal/ hydro/ RE projects/ transmission & distribution/switch yards. 

For Personal Assistant  

Graduate in any discipline with 60% marks or equivalent CGPA on a point scale from a recognized University with English as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level with shorthand in English with the speed of 80 w.p.m along-with typing speed of 40 w.p.m.

Age Limit

The age limit to apply for any of the mentioned posts is 28 to 48 years.
