Overview:

Ericsson is looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer – QA at their Chennai location. This is a position at Ericsson R&D where you get to work with a team of highly motivated engineers in delivering Ericsson’s world leading telecom application servers.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Perform continuous analysis and requirement handling.
• Be accountable for feature quality and maintenance including test analysis, development, automation, test, integration/release, and bug fix validation.
• Ensure product quality, automated testability, efficient continuous integration, and customer releasable deliveries.
• Trouble shoot product issues and support our customers.
• Develop competence in technical domain.

Qualification:

• Good knowledge in UNIX/Linux, Java, Python / SHELL scripting and test Automation
• Familiar with software system integration, function test and performance test methods and tools, like JCAT, DTG, Cucumber, JMeter, load-runner
• Solid understanding and hands-on knowledge of network protocols including IP, TCP, HTTP, etc.
• Familiar with CICD, like Jenkins, Spinnaker, mason2.
• Familiar in database configuration, PostgreSQL, NoSQL
• Experienced in Virtualization and Cloud knowledge, KVM, OpenStack, VMWare, Docker, K8S etc.
• Additional experience in Characteristics / Non-functional testing would be a big positive.
• Working knowledge of Entitlement and Configuration solution for GSMA TS.43, RCC.14, etc. standards, and the Apple iOS devices.
• Creative problem-solving skills and strong troubleshooting / debugging skills.
