SM PORT Authority Recruitment 2023: The Ministry of Shipping & Waterways, Government of India has sought Applications from Officers Competent for Appointment on the Senior Deputy Chief Medical Officer (Specialist) Post with 05 Vacancies by Absorption through Composite Method in Syama Prasad Mookerjee Port Authority under Kolkata Dock System (KDS), Kolkata vide SM PORT Recruitment 2023 Official Notification Dated 26.04.2023.
Based on the SM PORT Authority Recruitment 2023 Official Notification, the said Notification having occurred with 05 Vacancies for Senior Deputy Chief Medical Officer (Specialist) shall be filled up in the Pay Scale Rs. 32900-58000 (Revised Rs. 80000-220000) by Absorption through Composite Method in Syama Prasad Mookerjee Port Authority under Kolkata Dock System of SMP, Kolkata. The Eligible Officers may submit their respective Applications in the Prescribed Application Proforma ahead of the Crucial Date/Last Date 26.05.2023.
The Cadre Controlling Authority may forward an Advance Copy of duly completed Applications in respect of the Eligible Officers in the prescribed Pro-forma (Annexure-II) with all the Enclosures in a superscripted Envelope to the Concerned Authority at the Concerned Major Ports within 15 Days from the Closing Date of the Application, hence, the Crucial Date is 12.06.2023 to be read in the SM Port Recruitment Authority Recruitment 2023 Official Notification.

Pay Scale: Rs.32900-58000 (Revised Rs. 80000-220000)
According to the SM Port Authority Recruitment 2023 Official Notification, the Maximum Age Limit prescribed for the Senior Deputy Chief Medical Officer (Specialist) Post in Class-I Classification is as follows:
Age Limit: 42 Years
As has been notified in the SM PORT Authority Recruitment 2023 Official Advertisement, the Eligibility Criteria comprising Educational Qualification and Experience Mandatory for Senior Deputy Chief Medical Officer (Specialist) Post is as explained therein.
Essential Qualifications:
Educational:
i) MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery)/MBBCh (Medicinae Baccalaureus, Baccalaureus Chirurgiae) Degree from any Duly Recognized University.
ii) A Post-Graduate Medical Degree or Post Graduate Diploma (Medical Stream) in the Specified Specialty from any Duly Recognised University.
iii) A Degree/Diploma in Hospital Management from any Duly Recognized Institute.
iv) Experience: 09 Years’ Post-Qualification. 11 Years’ Experience in case of Post Graduate Diploma-holder in the Relevant Field of Specialisation in any Hospital.
For Absorption through Composite Method failing which By Deputation from other Government Organizations and failing Both By Direct Recruitment:

The Officers holding Analogous Post Or the Post Deputy Chief Medical Officer (Specialist) and Equivalent in the Pay Scale Rs.24900-50500 with 03-Years’ Regular Service in the Grade in any Major Port Trust or Deputy Chief Medical Officer (Specialist) and Equivalent Specialist Post in the Medical Department with 02 Years’ Regular Service in the Grade and a Combined Regular Service of 07 Years in the Pay Scale Rs.20600-46500 and Rs.24900-50500 in Specialist Cadre of Medical Department in any Major Port Trust will be Eligible for Deputation.
The Officers holding Analogous Post Or the Post Deputy Chief Medical Officer (Specialist) and Equivalent in the Pay Scale Rs.24900-50500 with 03-Years’ Medical Department in any Government/Public Sector Undertakings Or Autonomous Bodies with 03 Years’ Regular Service in the Grade will be Eligible.
According to SM PORT Authority Recruitment 2023 Advertisement, Selection on Senior Deputy Chief Mdical Officer (Specialist) shall be carried out by Absorption through Composite Method failing, failing which By Deputation from other Government Organizations and failing Both by Direct Recruitment.
According to the SM Port Authority Recruitment 2023 Official Notification, duly completed Applications of the Officers should be receivable by 22.05.2023 and the Last Date for receipt of the Advance Copy is 06.06.2023.
