As per the official notification of SMP Kolkata Recruitment 2023, the candidate should hold a degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering from a recognised University Institution with at least 15 years of experience in the relevant field. Syama Prasad Mookerjee Port (SMP) Kolkata is seeking applications for the position of General Manager (Civil Engineering)/ Chief General Manager (Civil Engineering) in the rank of Head of Department within the Kolkata Dock System of Syama Prasad Mookerjee Port, Kolkata (SMPK). There is only one vacancy for the assigned positions.
As per the official notification of SMP Kolkata Recruitment 2023, the upper age limit for the above mentioned post is 45 years.
In order to apply for SMP Kolkata Recruitment 2023, applicant must have a degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering from a recognised University Institution.
Based on the official notification of SMP Kolkata Recruitment 2023, the candidate should have at least 15 years experience in executive cadre in Planning Construction Design Maintenance, preferably of Port and Marine Structures in an Industrial Commercial Govt undertaking.
In accordance with the official notification of SMP Kolkata Recruitment 2023, after completing three years of regular service in the post, the incumbent will be promoted to the scale of pay of Rs. 120000 to Rs. 280000 (pre-revised Rs. 51300 to Rs.73000), subject to meeting the relevant requirements as per the Ministry’s guidelines, vide Letter No. A12023/15/2018-PE-I dated November 19, 2019. The incumbent will initially be appointed to the HoD level post in the pay scale of Rs. 100000 to Rs.260000(pre-revised Rs. 43200 to Rs.66000).
As per the SMP Kolkata Recruitment 2023 Notification, suitable and willing candidates must submit their application form through the “Online Application Portal (OAP)” of the Ministry of Shipping website from 18.10.2023 to 24.11.2023, after registering applicant need to take a printout of the filled in application along with the following documents may be sent in an envelope, through their Administrative Port superscribing “Application for the post of Chief Engineer”, and forward it to the Secretary, Syama Prasad Mookerjee Port, 15 Strand Read, Kolkata-700001 on or before 08.12.2023.
