Southern Railway Recruitment 2023: Southern Railway is inviting applications from eligible Indian candidates for the post of Senior Resident in the cardiac unit on a contract basis. As per the Southern Railway Recruitment 2023 official notification, there are total 05 vacancies. Selected candidates will be appointed for a tenure of 01 year which can be extendable up to 03 years. The selected candidate will get One day weekly off by rotation. Entitled to total 20 days leave in one contract year which can be availed as not more than 10 in six months period. Not entitled to any vacation or any other type of leave. The termination of the contract can be done on one month’s notice or pay from either side.
As per the Southern Railway Recruitment 2023 official notification, selected candidates having postgraduate degrees will get Rs. 67700 per month in their first year, Rs. 69700 in their second year and the selected candidates will get Rs. 71800 in their third year on appointment. Selected candidates with PG Diploma will get the above mentioned amount, which shall be reduced by Rs. 325 per month and will be reduced by Rs.650 per month if without Diploma / PG Degree. Selected candidates who are pursuing DNB training will get a emoluments fixed by the National Board of Examination or as above whichever is higher. Candidates will be selected through a personal interview. Interested and eligible candidates have to apply online from the official website on or before the last date. Candidates applying for this job post should have Post Graduate Degree /DM/DNB or Diploma in the specialty concerned from a university recognized by State /Central Government. If such candidates are not available in a particular specialty, then candidates without PG qualification but having at least three years of experience after MBBS out of which one-year junior residency in a Government Hospital or MCI-recognized private hospitals in the specialty concern can be considered for a period of one year only subject to the condition that fresh selection process has to be done by end of one year. Extension for another year will be allowed to these MBBS doctors with three years of experience if again no candidate with Diploma/PG/DNB/DM applies. The total period of such extension will be limited to three years of total senior residency as in the senior residency scheme.
