Age Limitation for SSS-NIBE Recruitment 2023: 

Referring to the official notification of SSS-NIBE Recruitment 2023, the candidate’s age limit for the given posts is mentioned below:

For Junior Research Fellow (JRF)-

• The candidate’s age limit should be 28 years as of 31/08/2023 and 31/12/2023 for First Round and Second Round scrutiny respectively.

For Post Doctoral fellowship (PDF)-

• The candidate’s age limit should be 35 Years as of 31/08/2023 and 31/12/2023 for First Round and Second Round scrutiny respectively.

Qualification for SSS-NIBE Recruitment 2023: 

Based on the official notification of SSS-NIBE Recruitment 2023, the candidate’s required qualifications are given below:

For Junior Research Fellow (JRF)-

• The applicants should either have 60% marks or an equivalent CGPA in B.E./B.Tech. (Degree in Chem. Engg., Mech. Engg., Agri. Engg., Civil Engg., Biochem. Engg., Energy Engg., Environmental and allied engineering subjects or must have 60% marks in M.Sc. (Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Microbiology and allied science subjects) and GATE/NET qualification as applicable.

For Post Doctoral fellowship (PDF)-

• The candidates should be a Doctorate (PhD) degree or have 3 years of research, teaching design and development experience after M.E/M.tech with published work in peer-reviewed journals (SCI/Engg.)/patents in the field of renewable energy or relevant field of science and engineering.

Salary for SSS-NIBE Recruitment 2023: 

As informed in the official notification of SSS-NIBE Recruitment 2023, the shortlisted applicants will be paid a monthly salary of Rs.47000. 

For Junior Research Fellow (JRF)-

• The selected candidates will be paid a monthly salary of Rs.31000 with HRA as admissible or a Hostel facility if available.

For Post Doctoral fellowship (PDF)-

• The selected candidates will be paid a monthly salary of Rs.47000 with (HRA as admissible or a Hostel facility if available).

Tenure for SSS-NIBE Recruitment 2023:

In accordance with the official notification of SSS-NIBE Recruitment 2023, the candidate’s appointments are given below:

For Junior Research Fellow (JRF)-

• JRF will be tenable initially for a period of 02 years. The term is extendable for one more year on the basis of an assessment of the progress made through publication and if not awarded the SRF. The combined tenure of JRF and SRF will not exceed more than 05 years in any case. 

For Post Doctoral fellowship (PDF)-

• PDF will be awarded initially for 01 year. The fellowship can be extended for another 02 years (maximum) based on satisfactory performance.

Mode of Selection for SSS-NIBE Recruitment 2023:

The applicant’s selection will be based on merit and through open advertisement. Both online and hardcopy applications will be considered and reviewed from time to time as per the requirements of the Institute. A committee under the Chairmanship of the Director General, SSS-NIBE having subject experts will assess the applicants through personal interviews.
