TNPSC Recruitment 2022: Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) has invited Applications Online from the Candidates Eligible for the Posts i) Field Surveyor and ii) Draftsman and iii) Surveyor-cum-Assistant Draughtsman. The Posts Field Surveyor and Draftsman are included in Tamil Nadu Survey and Land Records Subordinate Service and Surveyor-cum-Assistant Draughtsman in Tamil Nadu Town and Country Planning Subordinate Service.

The Candidates fulfilling Mandatory Eligibility specific to the Posts vide Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission Recruitment Notification 2022 may apply apply Online up to 27th August 2022 and not later than this Date. The Applicants may carry out Corrections in the Online Applications between 1st and 3rd September 2022 (12:01 AM up to 11:59 PM)

TN Public Service Commission shall likely host on 6th November 2022 an OMR Based Written Examination comprising 02 Papers for Total 450 Marks in the Forenoon/Morning and Afternoon Sessions. The OMR Based Examination to be held in the Forenoon Session and Afternoon Session shall be as follows:

OMR Written Examination Scheme: The Paper-I with 03-Hours’ Examination Duration in OMR Answer Sheet comprises 200 Objective-Type Multiple Choice Questions for Maximum 300 Marks of ITI Standard. The Candidates will have to choose from 1. Surveyor (National Trade Certificate)(Code No.387) and 2. Draughtsman (Civil) (National Trade Certificate) (Code No.388)

Paper-II with Total 03-Hours’ Exam Duration comprises 02 Parts carries Maximum 150 Marks; Part A for Tamil Eligibility Test (SSLC Standard) contains 100 Multiple Choice Questions of Objective-Type for 150 Marks. Part B also carrying Total 150 Marks comprises 100 Objective-Type Multiple Choice Questions from General Studies (Code: 003); i.e., i) General Studies (ITI Standard) (75 OTMCQs) and Aptitude and Mental Ability Test (SSLC Standard)(25 MCQs). The Candidates appearing in the OMR Written Examination will have to obtain Minimum Qualifying Marks; i.e., Minimum 135 Marks to be obtained by the Reserved Communities and Minimum Qualifying 180 Marks to be secured by General Category Candidates.

Name of the Post:

i) Field Surveyor in Survey and Settlement Wing (Post Code No:2800): Total 798 (*794+ Carried Forward 04)

ii) Draftsman in Survey and Settlement Wing (Post Code No:2900): *236 Vacancies

iii) Surveyor-cum-Assistant Draughtsman in Town and Country Planning Department (Post Code No. 3234): *55 Vacancies

Pay-Scale for All Posts: Level-8 Rs. 19500.00 to Rs.71900.00

Upper Age Limit: i) For Posts against Serial Nos. 1 & 2 Maximum Age is *32 Years. ii) For the Post against Serial No. 3 Maximum Age is *37 Years. There is No Maximum Age Limit belonging to various Reserved Communities.

Educations for Posts against Serial Nos. 1, 2 & 3 are as follows:

1. Field Surveyor in Survey and Settlement Wing:

i) A Diploma in Civil Engineering from any Institute approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) Or ii) National Trade Certificate in the Surveyor Trade of Surveyor awarded by THE National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT) Or iii) A Certificate in Army Trade Surveyor (Field) issued by Madras Engineering Group.

2. Draftsman in Survey and Settlement Wing
i) A Diploma in Civil Engineering from any Institute approved by the All India Council for Technical Education Or ii) National Trade Certificate in the Draftsman(Civil) Trade awarded by the National Council for Vocational Training. Or iii) A Certificate in Army Trade Draftsman (Field) issued by Madras Engineering Group.

3. Surveyor-cum-Assistant Draughtsman in Tamil Nadu Town and Country Planning Department

i) Pass in the Draughtsman Ship (Civil) Course under the Revised Syllabus introduced from July 1952, conducted by the Government of India, Ministry of Labor: Or ii) A Certificate in the Army Trade Draughtsman (Field) issued by the President, Technical Testing Board, Madras Engineering Group and Center; Or iii) A Certificate in Draughtsman (Civil) issued by the Craftsman Training Centre; Or iv) The National Trade Certificate of Draftsman (Civil) Trade or Surveyor Trade awarded by the National Council for Training in Vocational Trades (NCTVT), the Government of India through the Industrial Training Institute (ITI) and Successful Completion of Training in apprenticeship under the Apprentices Act 1961; Or v) Diploma in Civil Engineering.
