TNPSC Recruitment 2023: Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) is inviting applications from eligible Indian candidates for the post of Combined Research Assistant in Various Subordinate Services. Selected candidates for Tamil Nadu Town and Country Planning Subordinate Service will get a monthly salary on pay scale level 15 and the candidates selected for Tamil Nadu General Subordinate Service will get a monthly salary on pay scale level 18.
As per the TNPSC Recruitment 2023 official notification, candidates applying for the above-mentioned job post should have crossed the age of 18 years and the maximum age limit for this job post is 32 years. Candidates belonging to SCs, SC(A)s, STs, MBCs/DCs, BC(OBCM)s, BCMs and Destitute Widows of all Categories there will be no maximum age limit. Research Assistant in Statistics
Candidates should have a Master’s Degree from any recognized University or Institution with Statistics Or Mathematics as the Main Subject.
Research Assistant in Economics
Candidates should have a Master’s Degree in First or Second class with Economics as Main Subject.
Research Assistant in Geography
Candidates should have a Master’s Degree in First or Second class with Geography as Main Subject.
Research Assistant in Sociology
Candidates should have a Master’s Degree in First or Second class with Sociology or Social Work as Main Subject.
Research Assistant in Evaluation and Applied Research Department
Candidates should have a first-class Post-Graduate Degree in Economics, Econometrics, Statistics, Business Administration, Mathematics, Social work, Sociology, Anthropology, Agricultural Economics, or Public Administration.

The cost of the CBT examination is Rs. 150 (Rupees One Hundred Fifty Only), and it must be paid online before the deadline for submitting the online application using Net Banking, a credit card, or a debit card. Demand draughts, postal orders, and other offline payment methods are not accepted, and applications submitted by candidates using them will be summarily rejected following the appropriate procedures.
