Qualification for TNPSC Recruitment 2022

1. Assistant Statistical Investigator: Degree in Statistics or Degree in Mathematics /Computer Science / Economics/ Computer Applications with Statistics as an ancillary /allied Subject Or Any degree with a post-graduate degree in Operations Research / Econometrics / Mathematical Economics.

Provided that the candidates with the above Degrees other than Statistics are expected to be fully conversant with basic level concepts of Statistics including Bayes theorem in Probability, Probability distributions like Binomial, Poisson, Normal, ChiSquare & F, Probability Generating Functions, Moment Generating Function, Theory of Estimation, Testing of Hypothesis using various Statistical Tests like Z, t, F, Chi-Square, basics of Multiple Regression and Multivariate analysis and Sampling design. In addition, they should have basic skills in using MS Excel for Statistical data analysis.

Application Fees for TNPSC Recruitment 2022

a. For One Time Registration (G.O.(Ms). No.32, Personnel and Administrative Reforms (M) Department, dated 01.03.2017): Rs.150

Note: Applicants who have already registered in the One Time online Registration system and are within the validity period of 5 years are exempted.

b. Note: The Examination fee should be paid at the time of submitting the online application for this recruitment if they are not eligible for the concession as noted below: Rs.100.

The examination fee of Rs.100 (Rupees Hundred only) is payable by online mode through Net Banking / Credit card / Debit card on or before the last date of submission of the online application by choosing the option in the online application.

Selection Procedure for TNPSC Recruitment 2022

Subject to the appointment reservation regulation, the candidates will be chosen in a single stage based on the marks they received in the written examination. According to Schedule III of the Tamil Nadu Government Servants (Conditions of Service) Act, 2016, the rule of reservation is not applicable to the position of statistical compiler because there is only one cadre member. Even if an applicant receives the minimum required marks for selection, he or she will not be given consideration if they have not taken any of the examination’s subjects.

How to Apply for TNPSC Recruitment 2022

Applications are invited from eligible candidates only through online mode up to 14.10.2022 for direct recruitment to the Combined Statistical Subordinate Services Examination posts. It is mandatory for applicants to register their basic particulars through a one-time online registration system on payment of Rs.150 (Rupees One hundred and fifty only) towards the registration fee and then they should apply online for this recruitment.

Applicants should apply only online mode in the Commission’s websites www.tnpsc.gov.in or www.tnpscexams.in.

The online applications can be edited/ submitted up to 14.10.2022 till 11.59 PM, after which the link will be disabled. The online application correction window is open from 19.10.2022-12.01 A.M. to 21.10.2022 11.59 P.M for any corrections/updates/edits in the application. The applicants are permitted to upload/ re-upload the documents up to 17.01.2023 till 11.59 P.M, after which the link will be disabled. Etc.
