On Deputation or Absorption-

The applicant must be from amongst the regular Despatch Rider and Multi Tasking Staff working in the office of the Union Public Service Commission who fulfill the qualifications mentioned for direct recruits which are as-

• The applicant must have possession of a valid driver’s license for motor cars.
• The applicant must have knowledge of motor mechanisms (the candidates should be able to remove minor defects in the vehicle).
• The applicant must have experience driving a motor car for at least three years. And
• Candidate can 10th standard pass falling from officials holding the post of Despatch Rider on a regular basis or regular Multi Tasking Staff or equivalent in other Ministries of the Central Government who fulfill the qualifications as mentioned for direct recruits.

For Armed Forces Personnel-

On Deputation or Re-employment-

The Armed Forces personnel who are due to retire or to be transferred to reserve within a period of one year and possessing qualifications and experience as mentioned under:-

• The applicant must have possession of a valid driver’s license for motor cars.
• The applicant must have knowledge of motor mechanisms (the candidates should be able to remove minor defects in the vehicle).
• The applicant must have experience driving a motor car for at least three years. and
• The applicant must have a 10th standard pass.

Tenure for Union Public Service Commission Recruitment 2024:

The engagement of Union Public Service Commission Recruitment 2024 is made on a Deputation or Absorption or Re-employment basis including a period of deputation in another ex-cadre post held immediately preceding this appointment in the same or some other organization/Department of Central Government will not ordinarily exceed 03 years.
