On Sunday, a 24-year-old man, Yogesh Kumar from Saidpur Manjha village of Fatehganj East area committed suicide because he could perform well in the UP Police Constable Exam 2024, as per the police statement.

Faridpur Police Circle Officer (CO), Gaurav Singh said that he hanged himself to death at late night Saturday. As per the reports, no death note or anything was found along with the body at the death spot. The body was found in his rented room in Faridpur.

His father’s name is Ajaypal Yadav, he told the police that his son had been preparing for the UP Police Constable Exam for the past 5 years.

As per the police statement he this year attempted the UP Police Constable Exam 2024 in Rampur District on Friday (August 23, 2024) where he could not perform well.

Co has said, the dead body has been sent for post-mortem and further investigation is on.

The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board began the UP Police Constable Exam 2024 on August 23, 2024. The exam dates for UP Police Constable Exam 2024 are August 23, 24, 25, 30, and 31, 2024. Exams are held in two shifts, the morning one from 10 am to 12 noon and the evening shift from 3 pm to 5 pm. The UP Police Constable Exam is a state-level examination that is to be held across 67 districts. Approximately 40 lakh candidates registered for the exam this year. A total of 60,244 Constable vacancies are open. The exam is organising again after the exam held on February 18 and 17 was cancelled due to the rise of allegations of a paper leak.
