Age Limit for UPMRCL Recruitment 2023:

As given in the official notification of UPMRCL Recruitment 2023, candidates should be the age of 45 years to apply for the post of Deputy Chief Architect and candidates should be a minimum age of 45 years and a maximum age of 57 years to apply for the post of Director.

Salary for UPMRCL Recruitment 2023:

As per the official notification of UPMRCL Recruitment 2023, the selected candidates for the post of Deputy Chief Architect will be paid a monthly salary at a minimum scale of pay between Rs. 70000 and Rs.200000 according to the 3rd PRC and the selected candidates for the post of Director will be paid a monthly salary of Rs.180000 – 340000 (IDA Pattern) along with other allowances /perks /privileges as applicable for the post as per UPMRC rules.

Qualification and Experience for UPMRCL Recruitment 2023:

According to the official notification of UPMRCL Recruitment 2023, the required qualification and experience are mentioned below-

For Deputy Chief Architect-

• Candidates should possess B.Arch. (five-year program) from an institution or university recognized by the government.

Experience-

• Candidate should have a work experience of minimum 05 years in the field of Metro Rail Projects / Railway Infrastructure Projects. Hands-on knowledge of working on Auto CAD, Auto Desk, BIM & various computer applications, relating to the job, would also be desirable.

For Director-

• Candidate should have a BE/B Tech. in Electrical or Mechanical or Electronics and Communication Engineering with a good academic record from a recognized university.

Desirable-

• MBA or Master’s Degree in Electrical or Mechanical or Electronics and Communication Engineering from Govt. recognized Institute/ University.

Experience-

• Candidates from the Government or public sector should have a minimum of 25 years of experience in Group ‘A’ or equivalent executive grade. An applicant currently not in Government or public sector, but having earlier experience of at least 25 years in Group ‘A’ or equivalent executive grade in the Government or public sector, shall also be eligible. The applicant currently working in Government/Public Sector but earlier worked in Private Sector should be in SAG grade for the last 3 years and must have a total experience of 25 years at the Executive level.
• Candidates from Listed Companies of the private sector should have a minimum of 25 years of experience as an executive subject to fulfilling another requirement. Such candidates from listed private sector companies would be considered if the average annual turnover of the company is Rupees One Thousand Crores or more per annum, in the last three years. (The Average audited annual turnover of three financial years preceding the financial year in which the post is advertised shall be considered for applying the approved limits).

Desirable Experience-

• Candidate should have experience in all phases of major rail-based urban transportation projects on contracts i.e. Planning, Bid Documents, Bidding, Execution, Commissioning, post-commissioning, etc. Experience in implementing major projects and complying with project-related requirements of international funding institutions.
• Out of the 25 years of experience mentioned above, five (5) years of experience should be in Modern rolling stock used in Rail Based Mass Transit Systems or Railway/Metro electrification with 25KV AC or 750V DC traction systems or Signaling & Telecommunication of Railway/Metro projects.

Tenure for UPMRCL Recruitment 2023:

As mentioned in the official notification of UPMRCL Recruitment 2023, the appointment is made on a contract and deputation basis. The selected candidates for the post of Deputy Chief Architect will be engaged for a period of 03 years which may be extended and the selected candidates for the post of Director will be engaged for a period of 05 years or till the date of Superannuation whichever is earlier.

Selection Process for UPMRCL Recruitment 2023:

As per the official notification of UPMRCL Recruitment 2023, the selection will be based on a personal interview, Document Verification and Medical Examination. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for the selection process. If there are a significant number of applications, UPMRC will use shortlisting criteria to limit the number of individuals who will be invited for interviews. The candidates will be shortlisted for an interview, based on their eligibility as per pay scale/ qualifications/ experience in the relevant field.
