Monthly Salary under UPPSC Recruitment 2023:

According to the UPPSC Recruitment 2023 Official Notification, the Monthly Salary with Pay Matrix Levels are as explained hereunder:

For 1st to 5th Posts: Pay Scale: Pay Matrix Level-11 (Rs. 67700-208700)

For 6th Post: Academic Level-14 with Initial Pay Rs. 144200

Upper Age Limits for UPPSC Recruitment 2023:

For Reader Posts: The Age Limit is Minimum 28 Years and Maximum 45 Years.

Eligibility for 1st to 5th Posts narrated hereinabove:

A) Academic Qualification: 05-Years’ Degree in Ayurveda from any Duly Recognized University established by Law/awarded by the Board of Indian Medicine, Uttar Pradesh, or any other State Board or Faculty which is Registrable under the United Provinces Indian Medicine Act, 1939.

Experience: 07-Years’ Teaching experience of the Subject (Five Years for a Post-Graduate) in any Accredited Institution.

Desirable: Working knowledge of Hindi, English and Sanskrit.

B) Preferential:

1. Post Graduate Qualification from any Duly Recognized Institution.

2. Research Work and Publication of Original Papers and Books.

C) Preferential Qualification:

i) Should have rendered Services in the Territorial Army for Minimum 02-Years; Or

ii) Must have Obtained a “B” Certificate of National Cadet Corps (NCC);

iii) Shall among other things being Equal, be given Preference in the matter of Direct Recruitment

ii) Experience: Minimum 10 Years’ Teaching Experience as Professor/Associate Professor in any Accredited Medical College/Institution, out of which at least 05 Years should be as Professor in a Department.

The General Norms regarding the Foreign Post-Graduate Qualifications for Equivalence

1. In the case of any Person with Post-Graduate Medical Qualifications awarded in the United Kingdom, the United States of America, Canada, Australia and New Zealand, His Qualifications may be considered as Equivalent Qualifications with Medicinae Doctor (MD)/Magister Science (MS)/ Doctor Medicinae (DM)/ Magister Chirurgiae (MCh), as the case may be, subject to His having satisfied/fulfilled the Criteria prescribed/stipulated in those Countries.

Selection Criteria under UPPSC Recruitment 2023:

The Selection Criteria for Appointment on the Posts 05 Readers and 01 Principals entails Interview/Screening Test followed by Viva-voce/Personal Interview. The Screening Test shall comprise Objective-Type Multiple Choice Questions with Negative Marking of 0.33 for each Incorrect Answer or Multiple Responses for any MCQs in the Computer-Based Recruitment Test.

Final Selection for all Posts shall be carried through by the Candidate’s Invidual Performance and Marks obtained therein.
