UPSC Recruitment 2022: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has invited Applications from the Candidates meeting Eligibility for the Post Assistant Professor (Ayurveda), Bal Roga (Kaumarbhritya) in A&U Tibbia College and Hospital Directorate of AYUSH, Government of NCT Delhi.  Among the Applicants, those who deem to have fulfilled the Eligibility Criteria for the Post Assistant Professor (Ayurveda), Bal Roga (Kaumarbhritya) under the Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi (GNCTD), intend to submit respective Candidacy for General Central Service, Group ‘A’, Gazetted, Non-Ministerial Post under the Government of NCT Delhi may proceed with Online Registered Application (ORA).

Pay Scale: Pay Band-3 (Rs. 15,600-39,100) plus Grade Pay Rs. 5400 Plus NPA (Pre-Revised)/As per 7th CPC Pay Matrix (10th Pay Level) Plus NPA.

Upper Age Limit: Not to exceed 50 Years for Scheduled Castes. Relaxable for Regularly Appointed Central/Union Territory Government Servants up to 05 Years as per the Government of India issued Instructions/Orders from time to time. For Age concessions applicable to other categories of Applicants, ‘Instructions and Additional Information for Candidates in respect of Recruitment by Selection are available for viewing.

As regards Ex-Servicemen and Commissioned Officers including ECOs/SSCOs shall be Upper Age is relaxable by 05-years subject to the condition that on the closing date for receipt of Applications the continuous Service rendered in the Armed Forces by an Ex-Serviceman is Minimum Six Months Post-attestation. This Upper Age relaxation is also available to ECOs/SSCOs who have completed their Initial Period of Assignment of Five Years of Military Service and whose Assignment has been extended beyond Five Years as on the End Date of Online Registration of Application and in whose case the Ministry of Defence issues Certificates that they will be released within 3 Months on Selection from the date of Receipt of Offer of Appointment. The Candidates claiming Age relaxation under this Para would need to submit/produce a Certificate in the prescribed Proforma to the Union Public Service Commission.

Essential Qualification(s):  The Applicant should have the following Essential Qualifications.

A) Educational: i) Bachelor Degree in Ayurveda Medicine from any University established by Law or Statutory Board/Faculty/Examining Body of the Indian Medicine or Equivalent as recognized under the Indian Medicine Central Council Act (IMCCA) 1970.

(ii) A Post-Graduate Degree in the Subject/Specialty concerned included in the Schedule of the Indian Medicine Central Council Act 1970.

Desirable Qualifications: Reading, Writing and speaking knowledge of Sanskrit.

Note 1: The Fore-stated Qualifications are Relaxable at UPSC’s discretion in case of the Candidates, otherwise, well-qualified.

Note 2: The Candidate’s Qualification(s) about the Experience is /are relaxable at the discretion of the UPSC, for reasons to be recorded in writing in the case of those belonging to the Scheduled Caste Community, if at any stage of selection, the UPSC is of the opinion that the sufficient number of the candidates from this Community having the Requisite Experience are Unlikely to be available for filling up the vacancies reserved for them.

Union Public Service Commission Recruitment Test Selection and Other Criteria:

Note-II: In the event of Applications received in a large number submitted by the Applicants/Candidates, the Union Public Service Commission will adopt the Shortlisting Criteria in order to restrict the number of Eligible Candidates to be called for the Interview to a Reasonable Number by Any or More of the Methodologies as mentioned hereunder:

a) “On the basis of Desirable Qualification (DQ) or any one or all of the Desirable Qualifications (DQs) if more than one Desirable Qualification is prescribed”.

b) On the basis of Higher Educational Qualifications than the Minimum Prescribed in the Advertisement.

c) On the basis of Higher Experience in the relevant field than the Minimum Prescribed in the Advertisement.

d) By counting the Prior Professional Work-Experience before or Post-acquiring Essential Qualifications.

e) By invoking the Prior Work Experience even in cases where there is No Experience mentioned Either as Essential Qualification (EQ) Or as Desirable Qualification (DQ).

f) By holding a Recruitment Test (RT).

Therefore the Candidate should mention all His or Her Qualifications and Experience in the relevant Field over and above the Minimum Qualifications.

Note-III: Important Points:

Viva-voce / Personality Test weighs Total 100 Marks explained as hereunder:

i) The Category-wise Minimum Level of Suitability in the Interviews (100 Marks), irrespective of whether the Selection is made only through Interview or by Recruitment Test (RT) followed by the Interview, shall remain:

a) Un-Reserved Minimum Qualifying 50 Marks to be secured out of Aggregate 100 Marks. b) Economically Weaker Sections 50 Marks. c) Other Backward Community: 45 Marks, c) Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Caste/Persons with Benchmark Disability (PwBD): 40 Marks.

ii) In cases where Selection is made by Recruitment Test (RT) followed by the Personal Interview, the Candidate will have to achieve the Minimum Level of Suitability in their respective Categories at the Interview Stage.
