UPSC Recruitment 2023: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is accepting applications for the post of Specialist Grade III Assistant Professor (Medical Gastroenterology).   • The candidate should have an MBBS degree qualification included in the First Schedule, Second Schedule, or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956). Holders of educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in sub-section (3) of Section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956).
  • The candidate should have a post-graduate degree in the concerned specialty or superspeciality mentioned in Section A of Schedule VI from a recognized teaching institute. Doctorate of Medicine (Medical Gastroenterology) or Doctorate of Medicine (Gastroenterology) or Diplomate National Board (Medical Gastroenterology) or Diplomate National Board (Gastroenterology) or Doctor of Medicine (Medicine) with 2 years special training in Gastroenterology or Doctor of Medicine (Paediatrics) with 2 years special training in Gastroenterology or Diplomate National Board (Medicine) with 2 years special training in Gastroenterology or Diplomate National Board (Paediatrics) with 2 years special training in Gastroenterology

Experience Required for UPSC Recruitment 2023:

Based on the official notification of UPSC Recruitment 2023, the candidate should have at least 3 years of teaching experience as a senior resident, tutor demonstrator, registrar assistant professor, or lecturer in the concerned specialty or super specialty in a recognized teaching institution after obtaining the first postgraduate degree.
