UPSC Recruitment 2023: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has called in Online Applications from the Candidates Eligible for Multiple Posts in various Organizations notified in the UPSC Recruitment 2023 Official Advertisement for the purpose.  According to the UPSC Recruitment 2023 Notification, there are 69 Vacancies inclusive of the Posts earmarked for the Un-Reserved Category Candidates and Reserved Community Candidates under Post Classifications General Central Service, Group “A”/Group “B” Gazetted (Non-Ministerial)].  All Notified Posts are under Various Pay Matrix Levels 12, 11 and 07 respectively.

As is notified in the UPSC Recruitment 2023 Official Notification, the Eligible Candidates with Willingness for the notified Posts in Pay Matrix Levels 12, 11 and 07 of the 7th Central Pay Commission may apply Online. The UPSC Recruitment 2023 Official Notification narrates 13.04.2023 as the Last Date for the Intending Candidates to complete the Online Recruitment Application (ORA). As has been mentioned in the UPSC Recruitment 2023 Official Notification, all the Posts shall be filled up under the Pay Scale Levels 12, 11 and 07 under 7th Central Pay Commission in accordance with the UPSC Recruitment 2023 Official Advertisement issued for the purpose.

Upper Age Limits under UPSC Recruitment 2023:

According to the UPSC Recruitment 2023 Official Notification issued for Multiple Recruitment Posts, the Age Limits for Un-Reserved Category and Maximum Age Limits in the case of Reserved Community Candidates where the Employment Opportunity Posts are meant for such Candidates.

1st Post: 55 Years (for Reserved Community Candidates)

2nd Post: The General Merit Candidate should not Exceed 40 Years

3rd Post: The General Merit Candidate should not Exceed 35 Years

4th Post: The General Merit Candidate should not Exceed 30 Years

5th Post: The General Merit Candidate should not Exceed 30 Years

6th Post: The General Merit Candidate should not Exceed 30 Years.

Relaxations in the Upper Age Limits for Reserved Community Candidates explained in the UPSC Recruitment 2023 Official Notifications.

1) The Un-Reserved Applicant should not exceed (Maximum)  on the Closing Date of the UPSC Recruitment 2023 Notification.

2) The Upper Age Limitation remains Relaxable for Regularly Appointed Central Government/Union Territory Government Servants up to 05 Years as per the instructions issued by the Government of India from time to time.

3) For Age Concessions applicable to some other Categories of Applicants, do refer to the relevant Paragraphs of the ‘Instructions and Additional Information to Candidates for Recruitment by Selection’ of the UPSC Recruitment 2023 Advertisement.

Eligibility Criteria for UPSC Recruitment 2023:

Note: Detailed Eligibility comprising Educational Qualifications, Service Experience and Desirable Criteria/Qualification are explained in the UPSC Recruitment 2023 Official Notification appended hereto.

For All (1st to 6th) Posts:

Educational Qualifications: Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in the Subject concerned wherever Relevant.

Note: Desirable:

The Qualifications and Experience have been explained in the Detailed UPSC Recruitment 2023 Official Notification.

1st to 3rd Posts: Philosophiae Doctor (Ph.D.) in any of the Subjects/Disciplines from Accredited Higher University/ies. Master’s Degree in Relevant Subject Fields are Desirable.

5th and 6th Posts: Master’s Degree in the Post-Specific Task Areas Desirable.

 

Selection Process for UPSC Recruitment 2023:

Based on the UPSC Recruitment 2023 Notification issued, the Union Public Service Commission shall carry out the Recruitment Test Selection and Other Criteria with reference to the UPSC Recruitment 2023 Notification and are also explained hereunder:

Recruitment Methodology:

In the event of the Applications received relatively in a large number from Applicants, the Union Public Service Commission will adopt the Shortlisting Criteria to restrict the number to only Eligible Candidates to be called in for the Interview to a Reasonable Number by Any or More of the Methodologies as mentioned hereunder:

a) “Based on the Desirable Qualification (DQ) or any one or all of the Desirable Qualifications (DQs) if more than one Desirable Qualification is prescribed”.

b) On the basis of Higher Educational Qualifications than the Minimum prescribed in the Ministry of Mines Recruitment 2023 Notification.

c) Based on Higher Experience in the relevant field than the Minimum prescribed in the Ministry of Mines Recruitment 2023 Advertisement.

d) By reckoning the Prior Professional Work-Experience before or Post-acquiring Essential Qualifications of the Candidate Applicants.

e) By invoking the Prior Work Experience even in cases where there is No Experience mentioned Either as Essential Qualification (EQ) Or as Desirable Qualification (DQ).

f) By holding a Recruitment Test (RT).

Note-II: Important Points:

Viva-voce/Personality Test carries Total 100 Marks explained hereunder:

i) The Category-wise Minimum Level of Suitability in the Interviews (100 Marks), irrespective of whether the Selection is conducted only through Interviews or by holding a Recruitment Test (RT) to be followed by the Interview, shall remain as hereunder:

a) Un-Reserved Minimum Qualifying 50 Marks to be secured out of Aggregate 100 Marks

b) Economically Weaker Sections 50 Marks

c) Other Backward Community: 45 Marks

d) Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Caste/Persons with Benchmark Disability/ies (PwBD/s): 40 Marks.

ii) In cases where Selection is carried through by Recruitment Test (RT) followed by the Personal Interview, the Candidate will have to attain the Minimum Level of Suitability in their respective Categories in the course of the Interview Stage.

Application Fee for UPSC Recruitment 2023:

Following is the Category-wise Application Fee and Payment Gateway for remittance by the Applicants:

I) The General Category/EWS/OBC Candidates shall have to pay the Application Fee Rs. 25.00 (Rupees Twenty-five only) only either by remitting the Money in any Branch of the State Bank of India in Cash or by using the Net-Banking Facility of the State Bank of India or by using Visa/Master Credit/Debit Card Payment Gateway.

II) Reserved Community (SC/ST/PwBDs) and Women Candidates under any Community remain Exempted from payment of the Application Fee.

According to the UPSC Recruitment Notification 2023, the Willing Candidates should complete the Online Recruitment Application Process following Instructions therein:

i) Eligible and Willing Candidates should visit the USPC ORA Website to complete the Online Recruitment Application Process.

ii) Carefully Read the Online Application/Registration Instructions available on the UPSC ORA Portal.

iii) Initiate the Online Application Process as per the Instructions on the Online Registration Application Portal.

iv) Upload Scanned Signature, Photograph for uploading with Online Recruitment Application.

v) Upload Self-attested Documents on the UPSC Online Registration of Application.

vi) Remit the Application Fee Online through Debit/Credit Card/Net Banking, etc.
