•  A recognized MBBS degree qualification is included in the First Schedule or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956). Holders of educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfil the conditions specified in sub-section (3) of section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956).
• Post-graduate degree in the concerned Specialty or Super-specialty mentioned in Section-A of Schedule VI from a recognized Teaching Institute i.e., Doctorate of Medicine (Cardiology) or Diplomate National Board (Cardiology)

Experience for UPSC Recruitment 2023:

As per the official notification of UPSC Recruitment 2023, the candidate should have 03 years of teaching experience as a Senior Resident or Tutor or Demonstrator or Registrar or Assistant Professor or Lecturer in the concerned Speciality or Super-speciality in a recognized teaching institution after obtaining the first Post-graduate degree.

Age Limit for UPSC Recruitment 2023:

According to the official notification of UPSC Recruitment 2023, the maximum age limit for the above post is 40 years for the UR  category, for SC/ST candidates the maximum age limit is 45 years and for Other Backward Classes candidates the maximum age limit is 43 years.

Salary for UPSC Recruitment 2023:

As mentioned in the Official notification of UPSC Recruitment 2023, selected applicants will be paid between Rs.67700 to Rs.208700.
