UPSC Recruitment 2023: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has sought Online Applications from Faculty Professionals duly Eligible for the Assistant Professor/Lecturer (Forensic Medicine & Toxicology) Group ‘A’ Post in the Department of Health & Family Welfare, Directorate of AYUSH (Ayurveda, Yoga and Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha and Homeopathy) vide the Ministry of AYUSH Recruitment 2023 Official Notification. The UPSC Recruitment 2023 Official Notification has arisen with 04 Vacancies to be filled up against the Assistant Professor/Lecturer (Forensic Medicine & Toxicology) Post in the Pay Matrix Level-10 (Rs. 56100-177500) Plus NPA. The Ministry of AYUSH Recruitment 2023 Official Employment Notification for Notified Assistant Professor/Lecturer (Forensic Medicine & Toxicology) Post to be filled up with total 04 Vacancies including 02 Vacancies earmarked for Un-Reserved/General Category Candidates under the Group ‘A’ Delhi Health Service (Teaching Cadre of Homoeopathy) Post Classification.
The Last Date notified vide the UPSC Recruitment 2023 Official Notification for the Applicants to complete the Online Recruitment Application Process is 29.06.2023. Accordingly, Eligible Candidates with Willingness for the Assistant Professor/Lecturer (Forensic Medicine & Toxicology) Group ‘A’ Post may complete the Online Recruitment Application (ORA) as per the Instructions cited therein.

According to the UPSC Recruitment 2023 Official Notification, the Individuals selected for Assistant Professor/Lecturer (Forensic Medicine & Toxicology) Post, shall be entitled to the Monthly Salary in the Pay Matrix Level 10 post-Appointment, to be read hereunder:

Based on the UPSC Recruitment 2023 Official Notification, the following Category-wise and Reserved Community-specific Age Limits (as on 29.06.2023 the Closing Date) are to be read hereunder:
1) The Un-Reserved Category: The Candidate should not exceed 40 Years.
2) The Upper Age Limitation remains Relaxable for Regularly Appointed Central Government/Union Territory Government Servants up to 05 Years as per the instructions issued by the Government of India from time to time.
3) For Age Concessions applicable to some other Categories of Applicants, the Applicants should refer to the relevant Paragraphs of the “Instructions and Additional Information to Candidates for Recruitment by Selection” of the UPSC Recruitment 2023 Official Advertisement.
The Eligibility, in accordance with the UPSC Recruitment 2023 Official Notification, comprising the Educational Qualification(s) and Experience Mandatory for the Applicants may be read as follows:

A) Essential Qualification(s):
The Eligibility, in accordance with the UPSC Recruitment 2023 Official Employment Notice for Assistant Professor/Lecturer (Forensic Medicine & Toxicology) comprising the Educational Qualification(s) and Experience essential and narrated therein for the Applicants should be read as follows:
Essential Criteria: The Willing Candidates with Eligibility should have the Eligibility comprising the Educational and Desirable Qualifications narrated hereunder:
A) Essential Qualification(s):
Educational: Post Graduate Qualification in Homoeopathy. The Qualification should be the One included in the Second Schedule of Homoeopathy Central Council Act 1973. (Or) Post Graduate Medical Degree in the Concerned Subject duly recognized by the Medical Council of India.
Desirable Qualification(s): Desirable Qualification holding Post Graduate Qualification in Homoeopathy.
Experience: Experience of Serving/Working as a Resident Medical Officer (RMO) and/or Senior Resident (SR) and/or House Physician in any Homoeopathic Hospital attached to any Homoeopathic Medical College allowed by the Central Council/Central Government. (Or)
Desirable Qualification: Holding Post-Graduate Degree in the Concerned Subject recognized by the Medical Council of India.
Experience: Experience of Working as R.M.O. and/or Senior Resident and/or House Physician in a Hospital attached to any Medical College permitted by the Medical Council/Central Government.
Note: The Educational Qualifications and the Qualifications with regard to Experience in respect of the Candidates, otherwise well-qualified, are relaxable at the discretion of the Union Public Service Commission.
Based on the UPSC Recruitment 2023 Official Notification issued, the Union Public Service Commission shall carry out the Recruitment Test Selection with Other Criteria for the Notified Assistant Professor/Lecturer (Forensic Medicine & Toxicology) Post also explained hereunder:
Recruitment Methodology:
In the event the Applications received relatively in large number from Applicants, the Union Public Service Commission may adopt the Shortlisting Criteria to restrict the number to only Eligible Candidates to be called in for the Interview to a Reasonable Number by Any or More of the Methodologies as mentioned hereunder:
a) “Based on the Desirable Qualification (DQ) or any one or all of the Desirable Qualifications (DQs), in case more than one Desirable Qualification is prescribed”.
b) Based on the Higher Educational Qualifications than the Minimum prescribed in the Ministry of AYUSH Recruitment 2023 Official Notification.
c) On the basis of the Higher Experience in the relevant field than the Minimum prescribed in the Ministry of AYUSH Recruitment 2023 Official Advertisement.
d) By reckoning the Prior Professional Work-Experience before or Post-acquired Essential Qualifications of the Candidate Applicants.
e) By invoking the Prior Work Experience even in cases where there is No Experience mentioned Either as Essential Qualification (EQ) Or as Desirable Qualification (DQ).
f) By holding a Recruitment Test (RT).
Note-II: Minimum Qualifying/Pass Marks:
As has been explained in the Ministry of AYUSH Recruitment 2023 Official Notification, Viva-voce/Personality Test carries Total 100 Marks with the Minimum Qualifying/Pass Marks for Selection to be read hereunder:
I) The Category-wise Minimum Level of Suitability in the Interviews (100 Marks), irrespective of whether the Selection is conducted only through Interview or by holding a Recruitment Test (RT) to be followed by the Interview, shall remain as hereunder:
a) Un-Reserved (UR) Category: Minimum Qualifying 50 Marks to be secured out of Aggregate 100 Marks
b) Economically Weaker Sections (EWS): 50 Marks
c) Other Backward Community: 45 Marks
d) Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe/Persons with Benchmark Disability/ies (PwBD/s): 40 Marks.
II) In cases where Selection is carried through by Recruitment Test (RT) followed by the Personal Interview, the Candidate will have to attain the Minimum Level of Suitability in their respective Categories in the course of the Interview Stage.
Following is the Category-wise Application Fee and Payment Gateway for remittance by the Applicants:
I) The General Category/EWS/OBC Candidates shall have to pay the Application Fee Rs. 25.00 (Rupees Twenty-five) only either by remitting the Money in any Branch of the State Bank of India in Cash or by using the Net-Banking Facility of the State Bank of India or by using Visa/Master Credit/Debit Card Payment Gateway.
II) Reserved Community (SC/ST/PwBDs) and Women Candidates under any Community remain Exempted from payment of the Application Fee.
