UPSC Recruitment 2023: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is inviting applications from retired government servants for engagement as a consultant at the deputy secretary level in the office of UPSC. There are 05 vacant seats available for the positions mentioned. As indicated in the official notification of UPSC Recruitment 2023, candidates should have retired from the rank of Deputy Secretary or equivalent, i.e., from the post in Level 12 of the Pay Matrix, as per the 7th CPC (pre-revised GP-7600/- in PB-3) from any Ministry or Department of the Government of India. The maximum age of the candidates should be 62 years as on the closing date.
In accordance with the official notification of UPSC Recruitment 2023, selected candidates retired with NPS. An amount equivalent to 30% of the last pay drawn at the time of retirement shall be deducted from the last basic pay, and the resultant amount shall be the fixed monthly amount as remuneration.
