UPSC Recruitment 2023: Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is looking for eligible candidates for the posts of Air Worthiness Officer, Air Safety Officer, Livestock Officer, Junior Scientific Officer (Ballistics /Physics / Chemistry/Biology), Public Prosecutor, Junior Translation Officer, Assistant Engineer, Assistant Survey Officer, Principal Officer, Senior Lecturer (General Medicine/General Surgery/Tuberculosis and Respiratory Diseases). Air Worthiness Officer, Air Safety Officer, Public Prosecutor and Livestock Officer- The upper age limit is 35 years.
Principal Officer and Senior Lecturer (General Medicine/General Surgery/Tuberculosis and Respiratory Diseases)- The upper age limit is 50 years.
Junior Scientific Officer (Ballistics/Physics/Chemistry/Biology), Junior Translation Officer, Assistant Engineer and Assistant Survey Officer- The upper age limit is 30 years.
As mentioned in the official notification of UPSC recruitment 2023, the selected candidates will be given a monthly salary as given below-
Air Worthiness Officer, Air Safety Officer and Senior Lecturer (General Medicine/General Surgery/Tuberculosis and Respiratory Diseases)- The selected candidates will be given a monthly salary in level 11 of the pay matrix.
Livestock Officer and Public Prosecutor- The selected candidates will be given a monthly salary in level 10 of the pay matrix.
Junior Scientific Officer (Ballistics/Physics/Chemistry/Biology) and Assistant Survey Officer – The selected candidates will be given a monthly salary in level 7 of the pay matrix.
Junior Translation Officer- The selected candidates will be given a monthly salary in level 6 of the pay matrix.
Assistant Engineer- The selected candidates will be given a monthly salary in level 8 of the pay matrix.
Principal Officer- The selected candidates will be given a monthly salary in level 14 of the pay matrix.
Candidates applying for UPSC recruitment 2023 must have the given below qualifications-
For Air Worthiness Officer- Bachelor’s degree in Physics or Mathematics or Aircraft Maintenance or Engineering Degree in Aeronautical or Mechanical or Electrical or Electronics or Telecommunication from a recognized University.
Experience– Three years of Aircraft Maintenance experience on an operating aircraft in an Aircraft Maintenance Organization approved by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation.
For Air Safety Officer- Degree in Aeronautical Engineering from a recognized University.
For Livestock Officer- A Bachelor’s Degree in Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry as listed in the First Schedule and Second Schedule of the Indian Veterinary Council Act, 1984 (52 of 1984) from a recognized university or institution.
Registration in the Veterinary Council of India or Veterinary Council of States (B)
Experience– Three years experience in Cattle and Livestock Development or Animal Health or Poultry or Meat and Meat Products from Central Government or State Governments or Union territory Administration or Statutory organizations or autonomous bodies, and institutes recognized by the Government.
Junior Scientific Officer (Ballistics)- Masters’s Degree in Physics or Mathematics or Applied Mathematics or Forensic Science with Physics or Mathematics as one of the subjects during all three years of a Bachelor of Science level from a recognized University.
Experience- Three years experience in research and analytical work in the field of Ballistics in any central and state organization or recognized institute or university or forensic Science laboratory under the Central Government and State Government.
For Public Prosecutor- Degree in Law from a recognized University.
For Senior Lecturer (Tuberculosis and Respiratory Diseases)- A basic University or equivalent qualification included in any one of the Schedules to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956) and must be registered in a State Medical Register or Indian Medical Register.
M.D. (Tuberculosis)/M.D. (T.B. and Respiratory Diseases)/ M.D. (Medicine) with T.D.D, D.T.D., or D.T.C.D. /M.D. (T.B. and Chest Diseases) from a recognized University/Institution or equivalent.
