Essential Qualifications and Experience for UPSC Recruitment 2024:

For Assistant Director-

• The candidate should have a Degree in Engineering in Civil/ Mechanical/Computer Science/ Information Technology/Aeronautical/ Electrical/ Electronics disciplines from a recognized University with Three years’ experience in; OR Master’s Degree in Science in the subjects of Electronics/ Physics with two years’ experience in; OR B.Sc. Degree from a recognized University or equivalent with Physics/ Electronics as subjects with Five years’ experience in;-
• Air Traffic Control with Aerodrome Control/ Approach Control/ Area Control rating; Or
• Licensing of Aerodromes/Flight Crew/ Air Transport; Or
• Management of Airside Operations of major/ International Civil Airport; Or
• Aircraft flying with Commercial Pilot Licence; Or
• Aircraft Flying in Defence Services; Or
• Flight operations department of a Schedules Airlines; Or
• Aerodrome Design and Planning

For Scientist-B –

• The candidate should have a Master’s Degree in Physics/ Chemistry from a recognized University/ Institute; and
• The candidate should have One year practical experience in the testing/ evaluation of building construction materials employing physical methods of analysis in a recognised Laboratory/ Institute OR
• The candidate should have Bachelor of Engineering or
• The candidate should have Bachelor of Technology in Chemical Engineering/ Chemical Technology/ Civil Engineering from a recognized University or Institute; and
• Two years practical experience in the testing/evaluation of building construction materials employing physical methods of analysis in a recognized Laboratory/Institute.

For Administrative Officer Grade-I –

• The candidate should have a Degree of a recognized University or Institute.

Experience-

• The candidate should have three years of experience in a supervisory capacity of Administration, Accounts and Establishment work in a Government office or Public Sector Undertaking or Autonomous body or Statutory body.
