Post Name and Vacancies for UPSC Recruitment 2024:

The General Central Service, Group-“B,” Non-Gazetted, Non-Ministerial post of Staff Car Driver (Ordinary Grade) is being filled by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) on a deputation, absorption, or reemployment basis. For the aforementioned role, there are 03 vacancies.

Tenure for UPSC Recruitment 2024:

According to the official UPSC Recruitment 2024 notification, the selected applicant will be appointed for a term of 3 years.

Eligibility for UPSC Recruitment 2024:

Candidates applying for the UPSC Recruitment 2024 must have the following eligibility.

Deputation or Absorption-

From amongst the regular Despatch Rider and Multi Tasking Staff working in the office of the Union Public Service Commission who fulfill the qualification mentioned for direct recruits which are as:-

• Possession of valid driving license for motor cars;
• Knowledge of motor mechanism (the candidates should be able to remove minor defects in the vehicle);
• Experience driving a motor car for at least three years; and
• Candidate can 10th standard pass falling from officials holding the post of Despatch Rider on a regular basis or regular Multi Tasking Staff or equivalent in other Ministries of the Central Government who fulfill the qualifications as mentioned for direct recruits.

For Armed Forces Personnel:-

Deputation or Re-employment:

The Armed Forces personnel who are due to retire or to be transferred to reserve within a period of one year and possessing qualifications and experience as mentioned under:-

• Possession of valid driving license for motor cars;
• Knowledge of motor mechanism (the candidates should be able to remove minor defects in the vehicle).
• Experience driving a motor car for at least three years. and
• Candidate 10th standard pass.

Age Limit for UPSC Recruitment 2024:

Applicants must be at least 56 years old in order to be eligible to apply for UPSC Recruitment 2024.

Salary for UPSC Recruitment 2024:

The chosen candidate would be paid a level 02 salary, which is between Rs. 19900 and Rs. 63200 per month, for applying to UPSC Recruitment 2024.
