Educational Qualification and Other Terms/Conditions: 12th Passout/Intermediate Examination with Science Qualified duly recognized by the Uttar Pradesh Board of Secondary Education/Uttar Pradesh Secondary Education Board

Desirable: Obtained Diploma Or Certificate in Ophthalmology/Optometry/Refraction from the Uttar Pradesh State Medical Faculty Or Equivalent Institute Accredited by the Central/State Government

Preferential Qualification: Preference for Direct Recruitment shall be given among other Things being Similar/Equal according to Rule 09 of Part 04 of the Uttar Pradesh Ophthalmic Assistant Service Manual 1993:

i) rendered Minimum 02 Years’ Service in the Territorial Army; Or

ii) obtained ‘B’ Certificate of the National Cadet Corps

Selection Procedure under UPSSSC Recruitment 2023:

Selection for the Eye Testing Officer Posts is 02-Level shall be conducted through 02 Stages; i.e., Preliminary Eligibility Test (PET), Main Examination yielding the Marks and Document Verification, Medical Examination and Character Antecedent Verification, among other things.
