WBPSC Recruitment 2022: West Bengal Public Service Commission (WBPSC) has sought Applications from Experienced Officers duly meeting the Eligibility Criteria in reference to the Appointment of Deputy Director (Engineering) in River Research Institute (RRI). Such Officers who seemingly have fulfilled the Eligibility Criteria in respect of the Post Deputy Director (Engg) in the Department of Irrigation and Waterways (DoIW), West Bengal may apply following the Standing Instructions in the WB Public Service Commission. There is 01 Vacancy for the Appointment of the Candidate as Deputy Director notified in the West Bengal Public Service Commission.

Educational Qualification: Bachelor of (Civil) Engineering in First Class from any University or Institute duly recognized by the Government of India
Post-Qualification Work Experience: 05 Years’ Practical Engineering Experience in the Construction Sector
Preferential Qualification: Laboratory Training in Research and Model Experiments on Hydraulic Structures or Experience in operating and running Canals, maintenance of Drainage Channels and River Training.
Desirable and Essential: The Candidate must
i) be a Bona fide Citizen of India
ii) have the Ability to Read, Write and Speak in Bengali (not required for those Candidates whose Mother-tongue is Nepali) vide Finance Department’s Notification No.1243-F(P) Dated 02.03.2016.
iii) have Sound Health and Good Character and suitability in all respects for Appointment into the West Bengal State Government Service
i) Rs.210.00 Plus Convenience Fee Plus GST in the case of Online Payment and Service Charges @ Rs. 20.00
