UPPCL Recruitment 2022: Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Limited (UPPCL) has invited Applications from the Candidates Eligible for the Post ‘Technician’ (Energy / Electricity). Such Candidates, who satisfy the Eligibility Criteria prescribed for Recruitment to the ‘Technician’ (Electrical) Post and intend to apply, may submit Online Recruitment Applications  (ORA) as per the Instructions available. There are 891 Vacancies including 357 Vacancies earmarked for Un-Reserved Category.

The Age Limit for Applying for the Post is 18 Years and a Maximum of 40 Years. The Application Fee through SBI Challan (Offline Mode) may be paid between 27th September 2022 and 19th October 2022.  The Candidates may download the SBI Fee Challan only up to 19th October 2022. Vidyut Seva Ayog  (VSA), on behalf of Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation (UPPCL), shall conduct Tentatively in the 4th Week of November 2022 a Computer-Based Recruitment Examination for the Eligible Candidates’ Selection to the Post of Technician (Energy/Electricity).

Application Fees Category -Wise for Technician Post:-

Mode of Payment: RuPay/Net Banking/Credit Card/Debit Card, Payment Gateway, etc.

1) General Merit Candidates: Rs. 1180.00 (including GST)

2) EWS/OBC (NCL) Candidates: Rs. 1180.00 (including GST)

3) SCs and STs: Rs.826.00 (including GST)

4) PwBD Candidates remain Exempt from payment of the Application Fee. However, Rs.12.00 (Processing Charges)

Selection Process for UPPCL Recruitment 2022

Accordingly, the Electricity Service Commission (ESE), Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Ltd., shall inform the Candidates through E-mail and Website the Date(s) in reference to a Common Computer-Based Test to be held at various Examination Centers across Uttar Pradesh.

Selection Methodology: Selection to the Post of Executive Assistant consists of 02 Stages; viz., Computer-Based Written Examination (180 Marks) and Computer Proficiency Test (20 Marks) yielding Category-wise and Community-wise Merit.

01) Computer Knowledge Test (CKT) based on NIELIT “CCC” Level for 50 Marks.

02) A Computer-Based Test consisting of 04 Parts comprising 200 Multiple Choice Questions of Objective-Type for Maximum 200 Marks.

03) Preparation of the Merit List

Computer-Based Examination Written Test Scheme:

Total 200 (50 + 150) Objective-Type Multiple Choice Questions = 200 Marks with Negative Marking of ¼ (0.25 Marks)

Part-I:

Section I: General Studies & Logical Knowledge: 20 Objective-Type Multiple Choice Questions for 20 Marks

Section II: General Hindi (Matriculate Standard): 15 Objective-Type MCQs for 15 Marks

Section III: General English (High School Standard): 15 Objective-Type MCQs for 15 Marks

Part-II:

Technical Subject-related Paper: 150 Objective-Type MCQs for 150 Marks

Part I comprising Computer Knowledge Test (CKT) for 50 Marks will be held, which remains Qualifying in nature. The Minimum Qualifying 20 Marks obtained by the Candidates will not be reckoned towards preparing the Final Merit List.

Part II Technical Subject-related Computer-Based Test  makes it mandatory for the Candidates to score Minimum Qualifying 33.5% Marks (67 Marks) in order to be considered Eligible for being on the Merit List.

Eligibility Criteria for UPPCL Recruitment 2022

Educational Qualification: Passed High School (10th) or Equivalent with Science and Mathematics Or Equivalent from any School duly recognized by Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad, Uttar Pradesh/Board of Secondary Education, Uttar Pradesh. AND

A 02-Years Certificate in 01) Electrician; 02) Electrical; 03) Electrical (Power Distribution under Skill Development) All India (The National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT) / State Council for Vocational Training (SCVT).
