3 Held for attacking ED Officers: Know More

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has apprehended three individuals, among them being the Panchayat Pradhan of Sarberia in South 24 Parganas district, in connection to the attack on an Enforcement Directorate (ED) official in Sandeshkhali. These individuals, who have been taken into custody, are associated with Sheikh Shahjahan, who is currently in prison.

All the accused are produced before the magistrate today. (Tuesday).

Names of arrested persons are as follows:

• Didar Baksh Molla (a private security guard)
• Faruk Akunji (private individual)
• Jiaudddin Molla (the Panchayat Pradhan of Sarberia Panchayat)

These arrests have been made during the investigation of the case pertaining to FIR No. RC0102024A0002.
