Notification No. 47/2017-Integrated Tax (Rate)

New Delhi, the 14^th November, 2017

G.S.R.(E).- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 6 of theIntegrated Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017 (13 of 2017) ( hereafter in this notification referred to as the said Act), the Central Government, on being satisfied that it is necessaryin the public interest so to do, on the recommendations of the Council,hereby exempts thegoods specified in column (3) of the Table below, from the so much of theintegrated taxleviable thereon under section 5 of the said Act, as in in excess of the amount calculated atthe rate of 5 per cent., when supplied to the institutions specified in the corresponding entryin column (2) of the Table, subject to the conditions specified in the corresponding entry incolumn (4) of the said Table-
