Maruti Suzuki India Collaborates with Quiklyz for its Vehicle Subscription Program

Maruti Suzuki India Limited, India’s largest automobile manufacturer, today announced cooperation with Mahindra Finance’s Quiklyz for its Subscribe program. For Maruti Suzuki automobiles, Quiklyz will offer a white plate subscription. The Company has also expanded its Subscription program to include the Kolkata area. Quiklyz will offer a white plate subscription for a variety of Maruti Suzuki vehicles, in which the vehicle is registered in the user’s name and hypothecated to the subscription partner.

Maruti Suzuki Subscribe, which will be available in July 2020, is a program that allows customers to experience the benefits of owning a car without having to buy one. The program lets customers to choose from a variety of Maruti Suzuki automobiles for a flat monthly rental that is all-inclusive. This monthly rental covers the cost of car usage, registration, maintenance, insurance, and other common vehicle-related services.

When the lease period is out, the customer has the option of switching to a new car or purchasing the car he or she has rented. The program also gives clients the option of cancelling their subscription at any time.

“We have been constantly upgrading our Subscribe program services with learnings and feedback from our customers. This has encouraged us to expand Maruti Suzuki Subscribe to newer markets like Kolkata and partner with Quiklyz by Mahindra Finance,” Maruti Suzuki India Ltd (MSIL) Senior Executive Director, Marketing and Sales, Shashank Srivasta.

According to a recent report, Maruti Suzuki, India’s largest vehicle manufacturer, is on track to become the country’s largest car exporter in FY22. The achievement was accomplished after an 11-year gap, with fresh Baleno leading the group. In the calendar year 2021, the carmaker exported 205,450 vehicles.

However, Maruti Suzuki India’s net profit fell by 48 percent to Rs 1,011.30 crore in Q3 FY22 compared to Q3 FY21, as net sales remained steady at Rs.22,187.6 crore. On the BSE, the stock is currently trading at Rs 8,565.20, down 0.23 percent.

Delhi-NCR, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Pune, Mumbai, Chennai, Ahmedabad, Jaipur, Indore, Mangalore, Mysore, and Kolkata are among the 20 cities where the Subscribe service is now available. Quiklyz, Orix, Myles, and ALD are the company’s four subscription partners.

“Car subscription is a relatively new concept for customers in India,” Shashank Srivastava, Senior Executive Director, Marketing and Sales, Maruti Suzuki India Limited, said at the event. “Maruti Suzuki Subscribe has experienced a tremendous customer reaction, with approximately 1,00,000 inquiries in less than two years since its launch. The customer can choose from a variety of vehicle options in the Subscription programme, depending on their needs.”

Quiklyz Senior Vice President & Business Head Turra Mohammed stated that car subscription is gaining traction as customers’ ownership preferences shift across all categories, and that the firm is committed to playing a substantial role in this industry.

“As a result, we are thrilled to join forces with Maruti Suzuki to offer an unrivalled subscription service across the full Maruti Suzuki lineup,” Mohammed added.

Customers can choose between white or black registration plates as part of the plan, giving them even more freedom in their car ownership experience.
