Overview:

Barclays is hiring an experienced Analyst at their Noida location to Ensure that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements and enterprise Wide Risk Management Framework and internal Barclays Policies and Policy Standards.

What will you be doing:

• Working independently but referring more complex situations to team leads/subject matter experts
• Acting as knowledge resource for products currently handled by Wholesale Lending Operations
• Executing terms of agreed facilities, including draw downs, repayments, rollovers, wire transfers, treasury fundings, deposits, and investigations
• Ensuring that fees, interest, and principal amortization are billed and collected and forwarded to participants/syndicate members as appropriate
• Reviewing and action-ing of control and exception reports, ensuring breaks are researched and resolved per agreed department standards
• Act as a subject matter expert by developing excellent understanding of procedures
• React spontaneously to urgent requests and perform the required maker/checker activities

Qualifications for this job:

• Graduate/Post graduate (any discipline)
• MBA in Finance (preferred)
• Knowledge and experience working on a syndicated loan operations team (preferred)
• Working knowledge of lending systems (ACBS, ClearPar, IHS Markit Applications, Loan IQ, payments systems) (preferred)
• Strong Microsoft Office suite and software, in particular MS Excel

• Excellent communication skills and flexibility to manage change
• Equipped at using MS Office tools such as Excel, Power Point, Word, Access
• Aptitude to work in a variable business environment, periodically requiring tight deadlines and aggressive turn-around times
• Flexible with working in shifts
