Fertilisers and Chemicals Travancore Limited (FACT) is a multi-divisional Central PSE, and a pioneer in the manufacture of Fertilisers and Chemicals, with activities spread over Manufacturing, Engineering Design and Consultancy, Fabrication etc.

The Fertilisers and Chemicals Travancore Limited is looking for applications from eligible and aspirant candidates who have successfully completed Apprenticeship training under the Apprentices Act from FACT Training School prior to 01.01.2021, for the position of Engineer (Instrumentation).

The Fertilisers and Chemicals Travancore Limited will select the candidates according to the pre-decided recruitment process as specified in the official notification. The selected candidates will be recruited on a Contractual/Adhoc basis for a tenure of 2 years. The interested and eligible candidates can submit their applications latest by 10.06.2022.

Qualifications for FACT Recruitment 2022 are as follows :

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering

2. Candidate must have completed Graduate Apprenticeship Training from FACT Training School prior to 01.01.2021. Apprentices who have completed / are completing Apprenticeship in the year 2021 onwards need not apply, as they will be considered for engagement against requirements.

3. Candidates who submit both Certificate of Proficiency (COP) and Certificate issued from FACT Training School will solely be considered for inclusion in the Panel.

4. The engagement will be subject to the candidate being medically fit and continues to be medically fit during the period of contract as per the standards prescribed by the Company.

Details regarding the Age limit for FACT Recruitment 2022 are as given below :

1. The candidates who are less than 35 years & above 18 years are eligible to apply for this post.

2. The Age Limit will be calculated and considered as on 01.05.2022.

3. Age relaxation will be provided to the SC/ST candidates, OBC-NCL candidates and PWBD candidates : Relaxation in maximum age limit is permissible up to 5 years for SC/ST candidates and 3 years for OBC-NCL candidates and 10 years for PWBD candidates. Std X certificate having date of birth shall only be considered for proof of date of birth.

Reservation for SC, ST, OBC-NCL, EWS and PWBD candidates will be applicable as per Government Directives.

Salary for FACT Recruitment 2022 is as given :

Selected candidates will be paid a consolidated pay of Rs. 25,000/- per month and an increase of 3% on completion of each year.

Incentives provided with respect to FACT Recruitment 2022 are as given:

Candidates will be provided with Leave, Provident Fund, Shift allowance, TA & DA for duty travel will be applicable based on eligibility, as per Rules of the Company.

The Selection Process for FACT Recruitment 2022 is as follows:

1. After preliminary scrutiny of documents and application submitted by the candidate(s) , the prospective candidate(s) will be ranked on the basis of the following criteria in the order given below:

i. Earlier year of passing Apprenticeship
ii. In the order of Apprenticeship Token Number

2. Engagement from the Panel will be at the discretion of Management based on requirements, Shift Working, Projects etc.

3. Interested candidates from the panel may be considered for engagement for periods of shorter duration too, based on requirements of the Company at rates/ terms fixed by the Company for such engagement.
