The Central Board of Direct Taxes(CBDT) has enabled ITR-6 for e-filing using third party utility.

ITR-6 is now enabled for e-filing using third party utility. Department Utility for preparing and filing of ITR-6 for AY 2022-23 will be released shortly. Once prepared, you can upload the JSON at Income-tax website.

ITR 6 Form is to be furnished by the Companies to e-file the income tax returns if they are not claiming exemption under Section 11 of the Income Tax Act 1961. According to the income-tax rules, businesses that receive income from real estate kept for charity or religious purposes are eligible to claim an exemption under section 11 of the tax code.

As a result, organisations that do not assert an exemption under section 11 must file an ITR 6.
