RCB Recruitment 2022: The Regional Centre for Biotechnology (RCB), an autonomous institution under the Ministry of Science & Technology has invited applications from Indian Nationals for the post of ‘Executive Director, Regional Centre for Biotechnology (RCB), Faridabad.  The Executive Director shall hold the office for a term of five years from the date on which he enters the office, or until he attains the age of seventy years, whichever is earlier. Name of Post: Executive Director – 01 

Pay for RCB Recruitment 2022: The post carries the pay of Rs. 2,10,000 (Fixed) with the existing special allowance of Rs. 11,250 per month on Deputation (ISTC)/Deputation.

Age-Limit for RCB Recruitment 2022: The Executive Director shall hold the office for a term of five years from the date on which he enters the office, or until he attains the age of seventy years, whichever is earlier.

Essential Qualifications for RCB Recruitment 2022:

a) A Ph. D. in Life Sciences/Medicine/allied sciences or equivalent with an excellent track record, having a significant body of peer-reviewed scientific publications, patents and awards and memberships of premier national and international academics.

b) A minimum of 20 years of research experience as an independent investigator in Biotechnology/ Life Science or related areas.

c) An eminent scholar with the ability to command the respect of the academic and other stakeholder communities across the domain of biotechnology-related sciences through personal achievements in research and standing in the field.

d) A creative personality having strong leadership and managerial skills with efficiency and probity.

e) Capacity of lateral thinking for finding new approaches to multi-disciplinary research, education and training for value additions to the Centre’s programmes.

For Deputation: Officers from the Central/state government or Institutes of National Importance or universities/ university level institutions, research institutions or PSU. Holding analogous post, or 5 years’ experience in the Pay Level 14.  Possessing educational qualifications prescribed as above.

Period of Deputation for RCB Recruitment 2022: The period of Deputation includes a period of deputation in other ex-cadre posts, held immediately preceding this appointment in the same or other organization / Department should ordinarily not exceed 5 years.
