NEET Result 2022: NTA to Announce NEET UG Result by Today; Scorecard shortly at Official Website

The National Testing Agency(NTA) will release the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (Undergraduate), NEET UG Result 2022 on today, 7th September 2022.

Along with the result, the category-wise cutoff for NEET UG 2022 Result will also be released at their official website. Tentative time of releasing the result rounding the internet is between 6 to 8 PM, when NTA will release the NEET result. As soon as NTA NEET 2022 result is declared, medical aspirants can check it on the official website — neet.nta.nic.in.

NTA already published the NEET official answer for all codes. The testing organisation permitted candidates to submit a query in opposition to any response listed in the key up to September 2. Ahead of time, NTA also made available each candidate’s NEET OMR response sheet. Candidates can estimate their scores by using the NEET answer key and OMR answer sheet. A few hours prior to the announcement of the results, NTA will publish the final NEET 2022 answer key.

Physics, Chemistry, and Biology(Botany and Zoology) were the subjects included on the NEET UG exam. Each subject has two portions. Section A contained 35 questions, while Section B contained only 15. Candidates were required to attempt any 10 of the 15 questions in Section B.

NTA will also release percentiles and cutoff points for each category. Those who achieve the cut-off marks for their category or higher can apply for admission to medical programmes through state and all-India quota counselling.

Category-Wise Qualifying Criteria

Students will need to achieve a minimum score specified by NTA in order to qualify for NEET. As a result, candidates in the unreserved category will need to score at least in the 50th percentile. Students who fall under the reserved category, such as those from Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and Other Backward Classes (OBCs), must achieve the 40th percentile to qualify for NEET UG 2022.

How To Determine Cut-Off

1. Number of authorised seats in the medical college that accepts NEET-qualified applicants.

2. Amount of applications received.

3. Candidates’ overall NEET 2021 performance.

4. MBBS admission is requested under this category.

5. NEET cut-off trends in previous years.

Utilizing their application number and date of birth, candidates who took the NEET written entrance test in order to be considered for admission to medical programmes can check and download their NEET UG Result 2022 through the official links.

1. Visit the official website at neet.nta.nic.in

2. On the home page, click on NEET UG 2022 result link.

3. Enter application number, date of birth.

4. NEET UG 2022 result will appear on the screen.

5. Download NEET UG 2022 scorecard, take a print out for further reference.
