Hindustan Copper Recruitment 2022: Application has been invited for the Graduate Engineer Trainee in various disciplines/cadres such as Mining, Survey, Geology, Concentrator, Electrical, Civil, Mechanical, Instrumentation, and System. There is a total of 84 vacant position which is break-up according to category-wise like UR/SC/ST/OBC etc.
The Maximum Age limit applying for the Graduate Engineer Trainee is 28 years It will be relaxable category-wise like SC/ST/OBC/PWD/Ex-servicemen. Application fees for General, OBC, and EWS candidates are Rs. 500 and all other candidates are exempted from paying fees including PwBDs. Graduate Engineer Trainee
Rs. 40000 – Rs. 140000
1. Applicant should have qualified for the GATE Examination and has a valid GATE-2022 and/or GATE-2021 Score in the same discipline as the qualifying degree discipline.
2. Applicants having 60% marks (55% for SC/ST) in aggregate in the qualifying degree mentioned in the essential qualification table for each cadre/discipline from University / Institution recognized by Government / UGC / AIU/ AICTE.
3. Essential Qualification for the post of Graduate Engineering Trainee in different cadres/disciplines is as under.
1. The selection process for the Graduate Engineer Trainee post will be a two-step process with the assigned weightage.
Gate Score/Marks – 70%
Personal Interview – 30%
2. Candidates will be called for Personal Interviews in a ratio of 1:5; i.e., for each advertised vacancy, 05 candidates will be called for Personal Interviews. In case there is a single vacancy, then 10 candidates will be shortlisted for a Personal Interview.
3. Shortlisting of candidates for Personal Interviews for the post of Graduate Engineer Trainee will be done in the order of merit drawn based on valid GATE 2022 Score. In case, candidates in the required ratio are not available from the GATE-2022 score for any discipline/cadre, candidates equivalent to shortage to the mentioned ratio will be shortlisted from the GATE-2021 score for each cadre/category separately.
Note – HCL shall be free to reject any application at any stage of the recruitment process or candidature after the selection process if the candidate is found ineligible for the applied post.
