JIPMER Recruitment 2022: Jawaharlal Institute of Post Graduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER), Puducherry has invited applications from eligible and interested candidates for the Scientist – C (Medical) and Scientist – B (Medical) post for Regional Level Viral Research & Diagnostic Laboratory under DHR/ICMR Funded “Establishment of a Network of Research Laboratories for Managing Epidemics and Natural Calamities in the Department of Microbiology, JIPMER on contract basis.

The age of the candidate shall not be above 40 years for Scientist- C (Medical) and below 35 years for Scientist-B (Medical).

Qualifications for JIPMER Recruitment 2022: 

Scientist – C (Medical)

Essential Qualification:

Post Graduate degree (MD/MS/DNB) with one year of R&D / teaching experience or Postgraduate diploma in medical subjects with two years of R&D / teaching experience in the required subject from a recognized university.

Or

MBBS degree recognized by MCI or equivalent degree from a recognized university with 4 years R&D / teaching experience in the required subject after MBBS degree.

Or

BDS / B. V. Sc & AH degree recognized by DCI / VCI with 5 years R&D / teaching experience in the relevant subject after BDS / B. V. Sc degree

Desirable Qualifications:

MD in the relevant subject from a recognized university for candidates with first class relevant degree.

Additional Ph.D. / Post-doctoral research/training experience in relevant subjects in recognized institute(s).

Knowledge of Computer Applications or Business Intelligence tools / Data Management.

Working experience in BSL-3 or BSL-4 laboratory

Scientist-B (MEDICAL)

Essential Qualifications:

MBBS / BDS / B.V.Sc. & AH recognized by MCI / DCI / VCI respectively.

Or

BDS / B. V. Sc degree with one year experience.

Desirable Qualifications:

MD in the related subject from a recognized university for candidates with a first-class relevant degrees.

Additional Post doctoral research/training experience in relevant subjects in relevant subjects in recognized institute(s).

Knowledge of Computer Applications or Business Intelligence tools / Data Management

Two years of R&D / Teaching experience in relevant subjects after obtaining essential qualifications.

Working experience in BSL-3 or BSL-4 laboratory

Evaluation Criteria for JIPMER Recruitment 2022

Evaluation of qualification, relevant work experience, publications, conference presentations, training, online written test, and interview.

Pay Scale for JIPMER Recruitment 2022:

For Scientist- C (Medical)

67,000 + HRA/pm

For Scientist-B (Medical)

56,000 + HRA/pm
