Vizag Steel Recruitment 2022: VIZAG Steel, Visakhapatnam, has invited applications from dynamic and experienced personnel for engagement on a Tenure/ Contract basis to the Mine Foreman, Operator-cum-Mechanic (OCM), Mine Mate, Blaster, Drill Technician posts for its captive Jaggayyapeta Limestone Mines (JLM) at Jaggayyapeta, Andhra Pradesh and Madharam Dolomite Mines (MDM) at Madharam, Telangana
The age of the candidate shall be below 35 years as of 01-10-2022. The upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST candidates and 3 years for OBC (NCL) candidates. No. of Vacancy: 31 (Inclusive of 13 earmarked for General Merit) Nos.

1) Mine Foreman (Post Code 101) (02 Vacancies)
Educational Qualification: Diploma in Mining Engineering with Mine Foreman Certificate of Competency restricted to Open Cast Working only issued by the Directorate General of Mines Safety (DGMS).
Post-Qualification Experience: 05 Years of Experience Specific to the Post.
2) Operator-cum-Mechanic (OCM) (Post Code 102) (19 = 15+4* Vacancies)
Educational Qualification: Secondary School Certificate (SSC)/Matriculation with the Industrial Training Institute (ITI)/Diploma in Engineering (D.Engg.) with Valid Heavy Motor Vehicle Driving (HMVD) License.
Post-Qualification Experience: 05 Years of Experience Specific to the Post.
3) Mine Mate (MM) (Post Code 103) (04 Vacancies)
Educational Qualification: Secondary School Certificate (SSC)/Matriculation with the Industrial Training Institute (ITI) with Mine Foreman Certificate of Competency restricted to Open Cast Working only issued by the Directorate General of Mines Safety (DGMS).
Post-Qualification Experience: 05 Years of Experience Specific to the Post.
4) Blaster (Post Code 104) (02 Vacancies)
Educational Qualification: Secondary School Certificate (SSC)/Matriculation with the Industrial Training Institute (ITI) with Mine Foreman Certificate of Competency restricted to Open Cast Metalliferous Mines only issued by the Directorate General of Mines Safety (DGMS).
Post-Qualification Experience: 04 Years of Experience Specific to the Post.
5) Drill Technician (Post Code 105) (04 Vacancies)
Educational Qualification: Secondary School Certificate (SSC)/Matriculation with the Industrial Training Institute (ITI) Fitter Trade.
Post-Qualification Experience: 03 Years of Experience Specific to the Post.
Engagement would be on a contractual basis for THREE YEARS from the date of joining. The contract may be extended on yearly basis at the discretion of the Management for a further Two Years. Each term will be a fresh contract without any continuity.

Selection will be through online/Off-line Written Tests followed by Job tests/Skill Test (for OCM & Drill Technician posts only). Written Test will be held at Visakhapatnam and Job Test/Skill Test will be held at Visakhapatnam or any of the Captive Mines. However, RINL reserves the right to change the Selection procedure depending on the need. Candidates shall be appointed subject to their Medical Fitness. In case of more number of applications, shortlisting of the candidates will be done based on the number of years of post-qualification experience.
