Chandigarh Administration Recruitment 2022: 32 Vacancies, Check Posts, Eligibility and Other Details
Chandigarh Administration Recruitment 2022: Chandigarh Administration is inviting applications from eligible candidates for filling up vacancies for Junior Technician(Electrician), Junior Technician (Lift Operator) and Jeep Driver through direct recruitment on a probation period of three years. There are a total of 32 vacancies for the given posts. Candidates applying for the Chandigarh Administration Recruitment 2022 will be given a monthly remuneration of Rs. 19900. Candidates between the age of 18 to 37 years can apply for the given posts.
Interested candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria can apply online through the official website of the Chandigarh Administration. Candidates have to pay Rs. 1000 as the application fee and candidates belonging to the SC category have to pay Rs. 500. PwBD are exempted from payment of a fee. Candidates will be selected on the basis of a written examination.

For Junior Technician (Electrical/Lift Operator)-

Candidates will be given a monthly remuneration in the pay scale of Rs. 5200-20200 (pre-revised) as per the 7th Central Pay Commission notified by the Chandigarh Administration.
The fixed salary of Rs. 19900 (Level-2) will be paid during the probation period.
If any and no annual increment and other allowances, except traveling allowance will be payable. On successful completion of the probation period, they will be paid the minimum of the revised pay scale as per the 7th CPC along with other allowances from the date of completion of the probation period.

For Junior Technician (Electrical/Lift Operator)-

For Junior Technician (Electrical/Lift Operator)-
One objective Written test consisting (Section-I & Section-II) of multiple choice questions (MCQ) will be conducted. Candidates will be selected on the basis of total marks obtained in the test. Qualifying marks for each Section-I & Section-II will be 40% for SC category candidates and 45% for all other candidates. No interview will be conducted and there will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong Answer.
Paper – 180 Minutes (3 hrs) – Multiple Choice objective type Question paper having 150 questions.
Section I – 100 questions having the level of I.T.I. Trade Certificate standard as per the qualification prescribed for the post.
Section II – 50 questions (20 questions on English, 20 questions on Mental Ability, and 10 questions on Computer Aptitude).
For Jeep Driver-
Selection will be made on the basis of a Written Test and a Driving Skill Test. The written test will be of objective type (Multiple Choice Questions) of the duration of 120 Minutes (2 hrs) comprising of the following three sections-
i. Knowledge of the motor vehicle act and traffic rules – 50 marks.
ii. Knowledge of vehicle repair and etc. – 40 marks.
iii. Basic Knowledge of first aid – 10 marks.
On the basis of merit in written tests, candidates will be called for a driving skill test (which is only qualifying). Thereafter, candidates who qualify for the skill test will be called for scrutiny of original documents and checking up on eligibility conditions.
All the details regarding the exam center will be intimated later on the website. Shortlisted candidates have to download admit cards from the website.
The final Result/Merit list prepared on the basis of marks in written test & driving skill test (in the case of Driver), will be uploaded on the website, and on the basis of said merit; candidates will be called for documents verification.
