Macquarie is hiring an experienced Associate – Data Operations at their Gurgaon location. In this role, you will be working on ensuring the BAU activities are done without any delays and further develop your project management and stakeholder engagement skills.

What will you be doing:

3rdparty data integration activities around monitoring and following its periodic accuracy checklist

Cloud based big data platforms

Supporting the Alteryx and PowerBI user community in accessing and utilising the big data platform

Testing and validating data change requests as part of regular SDLC change management

Troubleshooting production issues related to data applications

Writing SQL queries to validate data gaps in refreshes from source to target

Recognising opportunities for enhancements in data processes, reports and controls

Communicate with stakeholders across the globe

Enterprise Data Management tooling, e.g. Collibra

Data Integration tool e.g. Alteryx, DataIKU

Data Profiling and Data Quality solutions, e.g. Informatica IDQ

Data Visualisation – e.g. Power BI

Data manipulation and preparation – e.g. Alteryx or SQL

Agile ways of working

Qualifications for this Job:

They are looking for prior education in Engineering, Maths, Statistics, Computer Science, Finance, Economics and/or any other relevant quantitative discipline. This includes a minimum Bachelor’s degree qualification with strong academic performance, 0-1 year of post-qualification relevant experience working with data and various back end systems for risk management or financial services & any of the data analysis tools , databases or SQL would be an added benefit.
