Meesho Hiring Experienced Assistant Manager

Overview:

Meesho is hiring an experienced Assistant Manager – Finance (Revenue Assurance) at their Bangalore location. As an Assistant Manager- Finance (Revenue Assurance), you’ll be part of a team of professionals working in domains such as Financial Reporting, Finance Operations, Business Finance, Treasury Management and Taxation. The team consists of Chartered Accountants, Business experts and Engineers, who have previously worked for internationally renowned organisations.

What will you be doing:

Ensure timely closure of activities related to revenue recognition with utmost accuracy

Improve revenues and profitability through minimisation of leakage

Drive improvements and develop automation of daily/monthly standard tasks in revenue (accounting) processes and workflows

Perform data analysis using tools such as SQL

Work with cross-functional teams to ensure variations are addressed at the root cause level

Manage end-to-end revenue accounting

Prepare KPIs, variance analysis and highlight deviations, if any

Coordination with the statutory and internal auditors to ensure timely completion of audit.

Qualifications for this Job:

Certification as a Chartered Accountant with 0-2 year of experience

Excellent knowledge of MS Excel and Google Sheets

Ability to understand and effectively apply technical accounting guidance for Revenue Recognition

Ability to prioritize and meet tight deadlines

Articleship from Big 5’s is preferable with Experience in E-Commerce/Big 4 will be an added advantage.

Strong analytical and management skillsWillingness to learn in a fast-paced environment
