Overview:

GE is hiring an experienced Financial Analyst at their Bangalore location. Responsible for providing financial planning, analysis and reporting for Corporate, a business, or a P&L within a business. Impacts quality of own work and the work of others on the team. Focused on execution of standard enabling activities/provision of advice subject to policy and work routines within an enabling discipline. There may be some latitude to rearrange the sequence to complete task/duties based on changing situations.

What will you be doing:

Partner with Global FP&A and Controllership teams to develop and implement Lean processes in Closing and Reporting.

Partner directly with the finance team and central FP&A groups to collaborate on metrics, goals, and business reviews.

Support Annual operating plan and prepare for Strategic reviews with well-grounded business operational drivers.

Develop financial models to measure operational performance and partner with the teams to implement FP&A best practices

Develop Executive Reporting and Dashboard for periodical reporting on business performance, predict Contribution margin trend, and identify risks to operating profit goals.

Dive deeply into financial data and become a subject matter expert to provide additional insights.

Create presentations that provide insightful analysis, identify required action items, and effectively frame decisions to be made.

Identify and research variances to forecast, budget, and prior-year expenses, proactively identifying opportunities for improvement.

Develop and maintain effective relationships with business partners and cross-functional teams at all levels of the organization.

Qualifications for this Job:

CA/CA Inter/CS/CMA

Bachelor’s degree and more than 3 yearsof experience in finance or accounting or a related area

Experience in working with ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, and Hyperion) & business intelligence tools

Commitment to flexible working hours to meet US based business partner as needed

General knowledge of accounting/financial/operational principles

Experience developing financial reports and metrics

Interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact with various management levels

Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to a changing, fast-paced environment

Strong Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills

Superior attention to detail and ability to successfully manage multiple competing priorities while maintaining a view of the big picture

Demonstrated ability to influence others through effective verbal and written communication

Demonstrated ability to drive projects across an organization
