NTPC Recruitment 2023: National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC) is inviting applications from eligible Indians for a Special Recruitment Drive for experienced Scheduled Tribe to recruit them for the Post of Engineer (Operations) and Assistant Chemist. As per the NTPC Recruitment notification, there are a total of 06 vacancies for the Post. The candidate should have sound health.
According to NTPC Recruitment 2023 Notification, candidates will have to undergo a medical examination at any of the NTPC hospitals and the decision will be final and binding. Candidates will be selected through personal interviews and experience. Candidate meeting the eligibility criteria have to apply online on or before the last date. As per NTPC Recruitment 2023 Official Notification the last date for online application was 20.01.2023 which has now extended to 22nd February 2023.
As per NTPC Recruitment 2023 notification, applications are being invited for the following posts. There are a total of 06 vacancies for the Posts.
1. Engineer (Operations) – 03
2. Assistant Chemist – 03
The candidate should not have crossed the age of 35 years to be eligible for the given posts.
For Engineer (Operations):
The candidate should hold a Degree in Engineering in Electrical / Electrical & Electronics / Electrical, Instrumentation & Control / Power Systems & High Voltage / Power Electronics / Power Engineering from a recognized University/ Institution.
For Assistant Chemist:
The candidate should hold an M.Sc. in Chemistry from a recognized University /Institute.
For Engineer (Operations):
The candidate should have a Minimum of 05 years post-qualification executive experience (excluding training period, if any) in Operation/ Maintenance /Erection / Construction /Engineering in a Thermal or Gas Power Plant.
For Assistant Chemist:
The candidate should have a Minimum 01-year post qualification experience (excluding training period, if any) in Water Treatment Plant process and water analysis (RO plant, DM plant, pre-treatment plant, etc.), Boiler water chemistry (boiler water treatment & analysis of chemical parameters), and Knowledge of Cooling water treatment, Bulk Chemical analysis, knowledge of analytical instruments (like spectrophotometer, Ion chromatography, Gas chromatography), Coal sampling and analysis, Oil analysis. Should have knowledge of environmental parameter testing, monitoring, and management. Candidates with experience in the power plant will be given the added advantage.
For Engineer (Operations):
The selected candidates will get a monthly salary between Rs. 50,000 – 1,60,000 (E2 grade) at the basic pay of Rs. 50,000.
For Assistant Chemist:
The selected candidate will get a monthly salary between Rs. 30,000 – 1,20,000 (E0 grade) at the basic pay of Rs. 30,000.
