Experienced Specialist Payroll Vacancy at Invesco

Overview:

Invesco is hiring an experienced Specialist, Payroll at their Hyderabad location. This role Performs all activities necessary to process local payroll, including maintaining related records, filing tax reports, timely statutory payment and returns, calculating and recording payroll deductions, critically review and analyze all data files to ensure successful processing, while adhering to country specific legislative and regulatory requirements.

What will you be doing:

Accurate and timely input of all data in accordance to country processing deadlines

Acts as a subject matter expert and/or resource to employees and other functional groups

Review, analyze and verify payroll reports and documents for accuracy; makes necessary adjustments or corrections through established procedures

Analyzes and responds to complex matters requiring comprehensive knowledge of payroll policies and procedures; authorizes exceptions to the policy within defined limits

Researches, analyzes and resolves difficult or advanced technical problems or questions presented by employees, functional groups, and/or third parties

Reviews and/or prepares monthly, quarterly, and annual tax payments and forms

Regular review of processing documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance

Assist with the year-end process, including payroll system setups and timely year –end government remittances and reporting

Keep abreast of all relevant legislative changes with respect to payroll, statutory and audit

Assist with internal/external

Liaise with HR, Finance.

4 to 5 years of relevant experience and thorough knowledge of payroll processes/standards, best practices
