NABI is recruiting applicants for the Research Associate-I/III and Junior Research Fellow posts in various departments on a temporary basis. There are 05 vacancies for the given posts.

Qualification for NABI Recruitment 2023:

Post and Project Title wise qualifications are given below.

For Genomics for the development of disease-resistant crop varieties Project

The essential Qualification required for Research Associate-I is that applicant must have Ph.D. in any branch of Life Sciences or Biotechnology with at least one peer-reviewed international publication in Science Citation indexed (SCl) journal.

Development of nanomaterials-based biosensing platforms for food contaminants

• The essential Qualification required for Junior Research Fellow is that applicant must have Post Graduate Degree in Basic Science OR a Graduate/Post Graduate Degree in a professional course either National Eligibility Tests-CSIR-UGC-NET including Lectureship (Assistant Professorship), GATE and GPAT Or National Level examinations conducted by central government departments and their agencies and institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER, etc.
• The essential Qualification required for Research Associate-I is that applicant should have Ph.D/MD/MS/MDS or equivalent degree or have 3 years of research, teaching, and design and development experience after MVSc/M.Pharm/ME/M.Tech with at least one research paper in Science Citation indexed (SCl) journal.

Salary for NABI Recruitment 2023:

Salaries for the above-mentioned post are given below.

• Candidates applying for Junior Research Fellow are Rs. 31000 per month plus HRA.
• Candidates applying for Research Associate-I are Rs. 47000 per month plus HRA.
• Candidates applying for Research Associate-III are Rs. 54000 per month plus HRA.

Age Limit for NABI Recruitment 2023:

Post-wise age limit is given below.

• For Junior Research Fellow post the maximum age limit is  28 years.
• For Research Associate-I post the maximum age limit is  40 years.

Note:-

Relaxation is admissible in the case of SC/ST/OBC/PD and women candidates as per GOI instructions.

Selection Procedure for NABI Recruitment 2023:

Candidates will be selected on the basis of Interviews.

Duration for NABI Recruitment 2023:

NABI hires candidates on a temporary basis and the duration for each position is given below.

• For Junior Research Fellow the duration will be initially two years as JRF. Further up-gradation from JRF to SRF will be on the basis of the performance and further assessment.
• The maximum duration for Research Associate-I is for a period of 1 year only, and in exceptional cases, depending upon the progress of the research, and the performance, the committee may recommend the up-gradation of RA Level.
• The maximum duration for Research Associate-III is for 6 months.

As per the NABI Recruitment 2023 Notification, Interested and eligible applicants may appear for Walk-In-Interview at National Agri-Food Biotechnology Institute located at Knowledge city, Sector-81, Mohali – 140306, Punjab on 11.04.2023 at 9 A.M. along with the duly filled application form available on the official website of NABI. The duly filled application form must be submitted at the time of registration at NABI from 9 AM to 10 AM on 11.04.2023.
