IMU Recruitment 2023: Check Posts, Qualification and Other Details
IMU Recruitment 2023: Indian Maritome University is hiring eligible candidates for the posts of Faculty (Marine Engineering), Faculty (Nautical Science), Faculty (Radio Communication), Workshop Instructor (Marine), Workshop Instructor (Electrical), Counsellor For Students and Gender Sensitization and PSCRB Training Office. In accordance with the official notification of IMU recruitment 2023, the upper age limit for Faculty and Training Officer is 62 years, for Workshop Instructor is 57 years and for Councellor is 50 years.
Candidates will be selected on the basis of interview. All the details regarding the selection process will be intimated to shortlisted candidates through email. As given in the official notification of IMU recruitment 2023, eligible candidates can send their duly filled-in application form in the prescribed format given in the official notification through email to ([email protected]).
Applications are invited for the posts of Faculty (Marine Engineering), Faculty (Nautical Science), Faculty (Radio Communication), Workshop Instructor (Marine), Workshop Instructor (Electrical), Counsellor For Students and Gender Sensitization and PSCRB Training Office.
As given in the official notification of IMU recruitment 2023, the upper age limit is given below-
For Faculty and Training Officer- The upper age limit is 62 years.
For Workshop Instructor- The upper age limit is 57 years.
For Councellor– The upper age limit is 50 years.
Candidates applying for IMU Recruitment 2023 must have the given below qualifications-
For Faculty (Marine Engineering)-
1- MEO Class I (Motor) Certificate of Competency issued by Directorate General of Shipping, Government of India.
2- Sailing experience for a minimum period of six months at Management level within the meaning of STCW Convention, as amended.
3- VICT / TOTA Course Certificate or Willingness to undertake before joining.
For Faculty (Nautical Science)-
1- Master (Foreign Going) Certificate of Competency issued by Directorate General of Shipping, Government of India.
2- Sailing experience for a minimum period of six months at Management level within the meaning of STCW Convention, as amended.
3- VICT / TOTA Course Certificate or Willingness to undertake before joining.
For PSCRB Training Office-
Chief Petty Officer in Seaman Branch from Indian Navy / Coast Guard (OR)
2- First Mate Near Coastal voyage (NCV)
For Workshop Instructor (Marine)-
1- Marine Fitter from Merchant Navy Requirements: (OR)
PO/CPO/MCPO of Marine Engineering Branch from Indian Navy / Coast Guard (OR)
Near Coastal Voyage (NCV) class IV Engineer.
2- VICT / TOTA Course Certificate / Willingness to undertake
