GSEB HSC Science Topper List 2023: Gujarat Class 12th Board Result Declared, Check Pass Percentage and Toppers Name
Gujarat Class 12th Board Result: Gujarat Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (GSEB) has announced the HSC (Higher Secondary School Certificate) Class 12th board results for Science stream students today, 2 May 2023. All the students who appeared for the HSC Science examination can check and download their results from the official website of the board by using their seat number as login credentials. The board has also released the grade-wise results and overall pass percentage.
This year 1,25,563 students appeared for the Gujarat Board HSC (class 12) Science exam, of which 1,10,042 were regular students. A total of 72,166 or 65.58 % of students have passed the HSC Science examination this year. To pass the Gujarat Class 12 Science examination 2023, candidates need to score at least 33 % marks overall or Grade D in every subject. In the GSEB HSC Science result 2023, the overall pass rate has decreased by 6.44 percent. The HSC Science stream pass rate for regular students was 72.02% last year whereas it is now 65.58% this year. The group-wise pass percentage has been given below.
Group A – 72.27 %
Group B – 61.71 %
Group AB – 58.62 %
The equivalent marks range for all the grades obtained by candidates has been given below to have an idea and to calculate the approx percentage secured by the students. Those students who scored E1 and E2 grades will be considered fail and have to give supplementary examinations to improve their grades and pass the exam.
A1 – 91 to 100
A2 – 81 to 90
B1 – 71 to 80
B2 – 61 to 70
C1 – 51 to 60
C2 – 41 to 50
D – 33 to 40
E1 – 21 to 32
E2 – 20 and below
The board will soon reveal the information regarding who topped the science stream examination this year. However, Last Year in 2022, Neha Yadav topped the HSC Science result by scoring 98.86 %. Students can check the GSEB HSC results 2023 for the science stream on the official website and also via Whatsapp by sending the seat number to 6357300971.
